"It was only a pit stop on the road to hell Communists took Serbia in 1945."

Right... that explains why Slovenia, Hungary and the Czech Republic are backwards hellholes today.

The watershed of Serbia's fate was the Communist snatching of power in 1945,
owing to Anglo-American carpet bombing and Soviet tanks.

The rise of Communists to power was followed by widespread terror, forcible requisition of agro production, forcible creation of kolhoz-type co-ops, nationalisation of privately owned real estate.
The millions of citizens of Serbia were affected by this. The Communist elites fought among themselves for the spoils, while disfranchised Serbian citizens were forced to cheer for 1963 Constitution, 1966 Plenum, again for 1974 Constitution and ziplock their mouths. It was evident even back then where it all leads. And those Communist apparatchiks who lost in inter-communist struggle in 1989 from their sly party coleague were astonished, as well as their children. They never encountered personal loss in Communist nomenclatura.

And guess what, all of a sudden they started to pretend being victims of Communism. They were 44 years late.

Saying that "the eight session" is the fateful, is serious disregard of the historical facts. It was only a pit stop on the road to hell Communists took Serbia in 1945.
