Victor… Who are you to judge?

B92,
I believe that you have removed an earlier comment by Victor and I write to thank you for doing so. While it should have never been posted, that you made the effort to remove it should be acknowledged.
I found the comment to be extremely offensive.
One's religious affiliation is such a sensitive issue and all posts should be carefully scrutinized.

Well I thank you Agim for that compliment (I think), even though I'm not Serb. But I'll take it nonetheless :)

If I undestand you correctly Victor, you say that Serbs are Orthodox, but not Christians, and if this is what you mean, you are inferring that Orthodoxy is not Christianity? Well, tell that to 300 million people. It's OK though. I acknowledge Catholicism as a true branch of Christianity, though not the only branch. I certainly hope you realize this and are not implying that one can only be Christian if one is Catholic. Such attitudes are so ... well ... medieval, and you seem to be someone who wants to come across as a modern, rational-thinking fellow. But don't worry though, your slip of the tongue won't hurt my Orthodox sensitivities. Too many religious wars have been started via slip of the tongue.

The only tru Serb on this site is Mike. He had the perfect answer and I agree with him.Only a true and intelligent Serb will come up with that answer, the rest of coments are nonsence.

The last time the Serbian Patriarch visited Rome.

I am glad that His Holiness visits the se people. He is going to Albania to tell this 2% of Catholics that God loves them and invites them to live as revered disciples of his Son.

All Christians should unite behind His Holiness who is the true depositary of the Church Christ left to Peter after his Ascension to Paradise.

Agim,

You really have no idea do you? Here's a comment pitched at your level.

I hope Bush tells the Pope to leave his watch at home when he visits your country.

A symbol of the struggle against the Iron Curtain, the Polish pope was acclaimed by hundreds of thousands of Albanians during his visit, though the country has a Muslim majority.

Addressing a mass audience in Tirana’s central Scanderbeg square with Pope John Paul II at his side, Berisha – at the time Albania’s president - described the then pontiff as a major force in the collapse of communism.

According to estimates, around 10 per cent of Albanians are Catholics.
------------------------

Albanians are crypto-catholics. The muslimanism is unnatural for them. That's the reason why the serbian efforts to depict albanians as islamists, will never succeed.
Peace.
