For all of you K-Albanians that dispute the fact that there Al-Qaeda members in Kosovo. Read an article written by an investigative journalist called John Pilger on that subject. He quotes his sources and General Lewis McKenzie as one of them. Go to his site to read the article.
www.lewrockwell.com/pilger/pilger20.html

So if you are going to tell the Serbs to join Al-Qaeda I'm afraid you have already done that yourselves so there is no more room for new members. Not that Serbia would ever do that.

Don't tell me you didn't know both al quaide and taliban operate in Kosovo?

Its not propaganda its fact. They have been recruiting white Muslims for a long time from both Kosovo and Bosnia. Mainly Kosovo though.

By all means stay out of NATO if you want. Nobody will force you guys to join NATO.
Politicians come and go but people go on with their lives.

If you love Serbia so much, why did you leave? Why don't you live in Serbia now?
Sorry to disappoint you guys but it is West on one side and East on the other. It is more obvious day by day where you are headed.

KS, why is it racist to tell the truth? The truth is that since 9/11-2001 some serbs have exaggerated the role of radical Islam in the Balkans. But that doesn't mean that it didn't happen at all!

Look for instance in the book Unholy Terror by the objective writer John Schindler: http://www.amazon.com/Unholy-Terror-Bosnia-Al-Qaida-Global/dp/0760330034

He writes that "Bosnia played the same role for al-Qaeda in the 1990s that Afghanistan did in the 1980s". Al-Qaeda was also active in Kosovo and Metohia, but not to the same extent as in Bosnia.

One embarrasing fact for the US is that KLA/UCK received money and weapons from Al-Qaeda at the same time as it received major support from the US. So you could say Al-Qaeda and the US worked side by side in both Bosnia and KiM. Remember, this was only 2 years before they launched their big "war against terror".

Cvele I am not Ahmet, or as some try to look down on him and call him Ahmed.

When I posted that I researched it from a lot of sources. I wasn't able to find a specific number of soldiers per/country.

I know for a FACT that Kosova is the most militarized country in the world. I don't know what you're trying to prove but I've made my point that Serbian claims that Serbian soldiers are going to die in Iraq and Afghanistan are ridiculous.

B92 how do you allow a racist remark such as "Since al quaida and taliban work in both KosovA and Afg."???

Radical. He has allways been on radical side. Being a Nato member is a must. Not because sombody will attack Serbia, but because Nato is doing a lot of dirty work, or dangereous work, like peacekeeping or fightin terrorism. The whole union is part of it. So Serbia can't ask for Union benefits only. It should shoulder its own proportional part in dirty jobs as well. It can't be the military outpost of Rusia and harvesting the benefits of Union. The Union members know that as well.If Serbia gets late to the union and Kosova ahead then Serbia is faced with a long Kosovar veto over its membership. Belgrade leadership knows this too.Propably Koshtunica knows that he will be out of power soon so his hard line retoric is just that, an empty threat to nobody.

well, doni..., wasn´t it an Albanian who just recently chose to use the nick-name "Osama" here?

better don´t talk about Al-Qaeda, it doesn´t serve your purpose...and only shows where some Albanians seem to have their sympathies!

NATO is not that important...and it´s importance will decrease in the future. only think of China, India and Russia, all of them not members of that socalled "north-atlantic-treaty-organization"

I just didn´t know Serbia is bordering to the north-atlantic!

to the "predictor", who first introduced himself as being a Serb, and afterwards was not capable of "predicting" the USA pulling pack their efforts from the UNSC... :

there´s no need for Serbia to join NATO, the "partnership for peace"-program is enough, don´t worry! =)

Paddy do you want to stick with the name Paddy or Cvele?

If you Serbs are going to trick us at least don't use the same words, "send our troops to die in iraq".

Claim:
A country that joins NATO sends troops to die in Iraq.

Fact:
The Multi-National Force - Iraq (MNF-I), is a military command, led by the United States, that is fighting the Iraq War against the multitude of Iraqi insurgents. Multi-National Force - Iraq replaced the previous force, Combined Joint Task Force 7, on May 15, 2004. The media normally use the term U.S.-led coalition to describe this force, since nearly 92% of the troops are from the United States. However, the majority of nations that did deploy troops either confined their men to their bases due to widespread violence, or issued specific orders to avoid hostile engagement (especially true of the Plus Ultra Brigade under Polish command).[1] Thus, the term 'US-led coalition', when used in the context of combat operations, can be considered inaccurate, as the United Kingdom and Australia are the only nations engaged in occasional raids.

Did you read that nearly 92% of the soldiers are American. The other 8% are other non-USA nations who stay in their bases and do nothing. Albania has troops in Iraq, I haven't seen or read of any Albanians dying there. Albania also has troops in Afghanistan, guess what, no soldiers dying.

Now being pro-America instead of anti-American seems so much better doesn't it?

There is no valid reason for Serbia to join NATO. It's the same as a wife staying with an abusive husband. Particularly since NATO/US made the grave error of "missing" their claimed target. Oops, I made a mistake is not acceptable.

No sense whatsoever.

NO logical sense.

I for one hope that Serbia does not join NATO. We here in Ireland are (theoretically) neutral, and are not a member of NATO. Thankfully we do not have to send our troops off to Iraq and/or Afghanistan. I don't understand why some Balkan countries are queuing up to join NATO...it just means shiny new tanks for the military...oh and a few US air bases and radar stations being built in your country.
