Ah yes, blame the victim ...

"An Inuit group is investigating for itself that RCMP officers slaughtered sled dogs in the 1950s and '60s to force their owners to give up their traditional lifestyle.
Many Inuit are convinced that up to 20,000 sled dogs were systematically killed by police officers and other white authority figures.
Much of the social dysfunction in Inuit communities today stems
back to that time."

So now what, should we blame the dogs here too?

Deal with the 'social dysfunction' in your own country before parachuting
your ideas to another.

Hey Victor. Do you think that the Aboriginals are trying to improve their standard of living? First you try to label war criminals as Serbs, then you blame the Aboriginals for the Canadian government throwing money at their social problems.

Victor

Every year, Canada gives billions$$$ to the Aboriginals and only God knows what they do with the money. Mr Fontaine should start to tell us what he does with all those dollars.

Ah, yes Canada. The nation that completely exploits its native population ...

"The Churchill Falls hydroelectric plant development (in Eastern Canada) was undertaken in the absence of any agreement with the aboriginal Innu people of Labrador. Despite the flooding of over 5,000 km²
of traditional hunting and trapping lands, no compensation was ever offered.

"these permanent settlements was often marred by high levels of alcoholism,
substance abuse by children, domestic violence and suicide."

And more recently ...

"Aboriginal leaders, human rights groups and the opposition blasted the
Conservative government today after Canada voted against a United Nations declaration on aboriginal rights.

They accused the government of trying to sweep aside an important show of support for aboriginals that took 20 years of negotiations among UN countries.

"This is a stain on the country's international reputation," said Phil
Fontaine, head of the Assembly of First Nations.

As Joseph Ole Simel, co-ordinator of the African Regional Indigenous Caucus said: "Indigenous people in Canada must be going through hell."

«If you had power you would save every Croatian war criminal no matter what he did and condemn any Serb without questioning.»

You are quite wrong. I have been writing quite the opposite for years. In my eyes, all criminals are the same, no matter what they did and who they are.

I find it immoral though that war criminals who have committed the worst crimes are seen as heroes, no mater if we refer to guys like Mladic, Gotovina or Oric.

There is a lack of conscience in the Balkans to pursue those who have committed the unspeakable in the name of their nation. I thank God every night to live in a country like Canada.

Victor, same thing can be said for Croatians and Bosnian muslims war criminals who are still at large because the west was involved in their actions.

Indeed, America was against the arrest of Ante Gotovina because they gave him instructions but many others Croatian criminals are at large who are responsible for Rape, Extradiction, Ethnic cleansing of more than 250 000 thousand of Serbs.

Croatia is today the PUREST country in the world because of its NAZI past and in 90ies wars. In Total, Croatians ethnically cleansed between 1 and 1.5 millions of Serbs only and none was arrested for these crimes (except Gotovina who is not going to get 3 moths of Jail like Naser Oric who Raped and killed thousands of Serbian Civilians).

So please, spare us of that hipocrisy, God ia watching you also. If you had power you would save evry Croatian war criminal no matter what he did and condemn any Serb without questionning. We Know You so stop trolling these forums here.

I am sure that this 'story' is another way for the Serbian Gov. to deviate its obligations towards others. I do not believe in such a deal. Even though it had happened, Serbia had many opportunities to arrest all of its war criminals and put them through trials for what the crimes they have committed.

How many war criminals Serbia has prosecuted so far? Who are they? Any names? For the rapists, the torturers, the snipers who shot 1000s of civilians in Sarajevo?
