France, Russia FMs hold Iran talks

Kouchner's remarks will only serve to convince Tehran even more that it is being targetted by mortal enemies (aka US, Israel and now France) ..... and that the only way out is to acquire nuclear weapons on the basis of MAD (mutual assured destruction).

The West used to talk tough to Communist China in the 1950s .... they have since shut up once Beijing became a nuclear power. Of course they continue to berate the Chinese over the yuan, trade issues and human rights. My take is that the Chinese can live with that.
