Goran,

"Kosovo is European too, shows how much you are aware of the geographic locations within Balkan"

As Kosovo is part of Serbia, and Serbia is part of Europe, Kosovo is also part of Europe!

Then:

Well, how should the Iraqis work it out after DECADES of mass murders.
Still, no President Bush saying: give the Kurds an own state NOW?

Why not? No special treatment for Kosovo!

It is hard, but your only choice is to live together!

Good luck. And welcome in the EU soon!

Wow! Apparently Ischinger has suggested that independence might not be the final outcome. He has certainly warned that a unilateral declaration of independence is off the agenda, noting that this would have grave consequences for Kosovo - asking, for example, where they would get international aid from. Let's see how this plays out in Pristina.

UK newspaper, The Independent, reports..."The international community is backing away from a clear endorsement of independence for Kosovo. According to the top European negotiator, Kosovo is no longer being offered internationally-supervised independence from Serbia, in an apparent concession to Belgrade and Moscow that is likely to infuriate the disputed province's ethnic Albanian majority."

Please visit this link i found it to be an article everyone should read. This is coming from the German Representive. His comments raise some issues to the surface. Funding is one of them, the EU is not like UNMIK free flowing cash. As i said before EU works like business they are looking for a return on a investment. I hope B92 publish this because it bring forth issues that needs to be addressed. Thanks again for providing a unbias forum.

Kosovo is European too, shows how much you are aware of the geographic locations within Balkan.

For the stability in the Balkans I totally agree with President Sejdiu it should go on its own way, meaning Independence for Kosovo as the only solution. I have tried to search around how Belgrad intends to integrate 2 million K-Albanians under one umbrella? Easy talking now with autonomy, but how can they trust you (again) after killing 10.000 of their own ppl, I know I would never trust those politicans who couple of years ago voted the same leader who gave orders to the operation "horse shoe"...

Peace to all the ppl over there!

Ptoleme,

Thanks. Indeed: stop wasting time and energy. No new borders. No new state.

You live in Serbia. But you will live in EU soon!

Kosovo is Serbian. Serbia is European! WELCOME!!

Ron is right. Stop wasting energy. It is a lost cause for Serbia to try to put under its boot 2 million hostile Albanians.

Let Kosovo go and welcome TO Europe.

The moment that serbian armed forces commited ethnic clensing and mass murders (15000 killed women and children, 200 thousand burned homes, etc.) was the moment from which Serbia became a neighboring country to Kosova!!!
-My forgetful dear serbs, I remind you that NATO intervened and drove out MUP, JNA, RED BERETS, and other military formation-THEY DID NOT COME TO KOSOVA TO VACATION.

Therefore, please be considerate and mindful for our neigbourly relations. After all, we do not want nothing from Serbia, all we want is what we have had-our land. And, don't forget please that you people did not bring the land from Russian land in the 7th century. It was there upon your arival. It was Albanian. It was under serb occupation for a brief period. And it became ours again. It was returned to their rightful owners as God ordered in his Great Will. IT IS ALBANIAN. LIVE WITH YOUR NEIGHBORING STATE OF KOSOVA. It is the only option. And, be greatful to US, NATO, and EU, for insuring that serbs in Kosova will have their rights protected. Time will tell, but I beleive that we will treat serbs in Kosova with dignity, not in the way that Serbia treated us in their 100 years of occupation. I beleive this, because we are the original people of Balkans, descendends of Illyrian. We take great pride on our past and treat our neigbors with respect-just like we did when serbs first came to Balkans in the 7th century. I hope that we do not adopt the same hatred that we experienced from serbian occupation. Than again, time will tell. The last 100 years for sure will be treated like a bad dream for Kosova. Let's start a new day with our neigbors. Peace

Stop fooling yourself. Serbia is not a neighbour. You are part of Serbia.

Accept it. And guys, please stop this Balkan-nonsense.
Become full-blooded Europeans NOW!
No new borders, no new states! Welcome in Europe!
