Over 100 religious shrines have been destroyed in Serbia since June 1999, but this is of no concern to Department of State. The few remaining churches in Kosovo are guarded 24/7 by other UNMIK
forces.

DoS is fully aware that United States is responsible under Hague Conventions to safeguard religious objects. It did not happen in American sector in Kosovo.

That's what this rant about religious freedoms in Serbia is all about.

They still haven't rebuilt the over 100 churches and monasteries that had been blown up. They refer only to the ones damaged and destroyed during the 2004 riots, but there were many more ruined before that.

"Anybody is free to practice any religion they wish to worship in Kosva but not in serbia. Hm, I wonder why sice serbian govermant claims otherwise.

Destroying churches is a way to promote free and open worship? You have got to be kidding!

Why doesn't State issue a report on the state of rights and freedoms of US citizens in the U.S. since the Patriot Act? The Bill of Rights. The Constitution. Anybody remember those things?

As for the religious freedoms in "Kosova" -- the 150+ dynamited/burnt/razed churches and monasteries speak volumes.

Sure Ahmet, I'm sure I could practice my Orthodox religion anywhere I want in Albanian controlled areas of Kosovo. Are you blind or, just a propogandist? I may get killed in Pristina just because I am Serbian, not to mention that if I go to an Orthodox Serbian church that has been desecrated by Albanian separatists, I may be killed just for going inside to pray. You know you hate anything and everything to do with Serbians. There would be "Zero" tolerance of anything Serbian in an independent Albanian Kosovo. That is why the world will not allow that to happen.
