Perhaps the Kosovo diploma is not recognised because the Serbian Education Department has assessed that the two students concerned are not able to demonstrate the level of capability required to have attained such a diploma.

You guys missed the point here. It is not the question of these two girls speaking serbian language or that these girls are from Kosova. They are originally from that region but they were eductaed to a certain level in Kosova schools and serbian education department does not recognize the diploma from Kosova. This is the issue. Why would they not recognize diploma frok kosva if at the same time they claim Koosva is serbia. Any smart answer on this one.

I am so sick and tired of Albanians complaining about every little imagined case of percieved discrimination as a "minority". It is to the point where no one will care to listen to them when there actually may be one. If you don't like Serbia, you have an option. I, as a Serb, would not be looking for my shangrila in Albania.

These kids probably could not speak, read, or write serbian - if they were educated in Kosovo. Why would you pass them on to the next level, when they are not prepared for it? This is not a political issue, Albans. If I, as an adult, went to a Pristina school, I would have to start at the 1st grade - because I do not know one word of Albanian. Albans are so quick to point an evil finger at Serbs, why? Because of Kosovo status?

If Albanians in Kosovo go to Albanians schools and in Serbia proper they have Serbian speaking schools , obviously it is impossible to have the same education, especially in the language courses. Thus it would present this problem. It would be the same if the Kosovar-Albanians went to England and were disappointed that they were held back a year. As long as Albanians in Kosovo want schools to be presented in Albanian you cant expect them to have the same knowledge of Serbian. It is not discrimination but a different educational system. Isn't this what Albanians have wanted in Kosovo, their own schools? Why complain now? Just move back to 'your' country, Kosovo. I cannot even understand why Albanians would want to live in Serbia proper, unless they want to overtake that region as well and claim it as their own country.

I thought that sebian govermant treats everybody equaly. This is another concrete proof that serbia discrimantes against other nationalities, and openly. Tru face of serbia. People can not even get educated just because they are not serbs. It is a shame.
