Ponos is smart and he knows that militaraly can not occupy Kosova ever again. But, what is puzzling what is he doing in Turkey. After US and UK , Turky was the thrid country that dropped more bombs in serbia and very precise on targets.

Jovan,

If ever there was a country unable to separate itself from nationalistic thought & mythology of yesteryear it’s the Serbia of today.

Ponoš referred to the rivalry between the two nations in the past to say, "It made me very happy to see that both of us are oriented for the future. We can learn a lot from history but we cannot be hostages of history." I sure hope the separatist Albanians understand what this means. Stop your centuries old dreams of creating an ethnically pure Albanian Kosovo. It will not happen. It is the 21st century and the world has moved beyond tribal and regional aspirations and conflicts. There is no room for that in a modern Europe. If Albanians were not able to realize their separatist dreams in the 19th and 20th centuries - they certainly won't in the 21st. Work with your neighbors, instead of trying to expel them and trying to make your society ethnically pure. There is no future in that.

So one day the Serbs are the most zealous anti-Turkish people in the globe and the next they're the one who cooperate the most with each other?

Most Turks travel through Serbia on their way through and from Serbia. It was a way to attract more of the nationalities in the 70s and 80s and many kept it. Simply because it still works today.

Movie Tesna Koza goes into that more detail. Really good comedy.

If Turkey will ever support Kosovar independence they should IMMEDIATELLY grant Kurdistan independence!

Of course you treat the other one, like you want te be treated yourself?

Or am I wrong?

Jovan

why are you surprised, Femi?

it´s a hotel, and showing that international guests are welcome is surprising for you?

or... are you still caught in the trap of nationalist-thought of former centuries?

leave that behind, the sooner, the better!

In 2005 I saw a Turkish flag
(among some others) flying high into the sky on a Hotel on outskirts of Nish.

I was surprised, than and still am with that.
