I think he has read the Bible.
"Blessed are you when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven (Matt. 5:12)."
This is the ninth beatitude and is sung as the Third Antifon most Sundays.

Poor bishop, he was so sick from his hunger strike. This man is just a joke.
Now the bishop is participating in a political meeting, another proof that the Serbian Orthodox Church is more interested in politics than in religion. Nationalistic, actively supporting war criminals, openly blessing arms and now trying to destabilise neighboring countries. Maybe the church officials should read the bible to learn that Christianity is about peace and forgiving and not about preaching hate disrespect.
