Public spending in it self is not a bad thing if you can keep the inflation in check. The only tool that can hold the inflation down is higher interest rates. Short-term. Long term interests depend on the market and the economy in larger scale.

Those of you who got your training at the Groucho Marx School of Economics need to stop embarrssing yourselves by engaging in economic dissertations which affect real peoples' lives.I do not have the time to educate you about cost/benefit analysis, econometrics, game theory etc.etc. unless you attend my classes.Public spending is a good thing IF the money is INVESTED in projects that will earn you a good rate of return in the future. But if the money is wasted on things that have no future potential value/returns then that is not a good thing because inflation will eat into any gains in real wages.A very fundamental question for you Marxists to ask 100 unemployed people is would you rather have a job for 1 euro a day or no job at all?99% of unemployed people would like any job offered in order to be able to feed themselves but of course lazy pseudo-intellectuals like Lazer want to deny them this right because for people like him it is easier to criticize than to work and get compensated based on the value of his skills.Do you think Novak making $700k for playing a game during a 2 week period in New York is a bad thing?Skills and talent are what determine your worth in the marketplace not as a human being but as a means of production.

The West is always against huge public spending for the developing countries. It tries to force them to stop this... to reduce it as much as they can so that they can focus on repaying debt, which they will never really end up repaying because of high interest. And the economy will fall apart as public spending gets taken away, for there would insufficient funds for schools, roads, healthcare, and other things. Luciano will probably hail these Western economic plans, and may I tell him shalom, in the meaning of bye, stop telling Serbia to undertake these suicidal steps, as they tend to make things worse than they were.
