KS, so funny! you don't practice religion in Kosovo - but you do practice religious HATRED> can you not see the churches burned down in all over Kosovo? ANSWER please? Why are churches destroyed...you don't practice Islam but it sure looks like you know what religion is when it comes to your hate. And why do you call Kosovo/ Kosova - you don't even have Kosova in the Albanian language...show me where it is found in your language. Gosh, you guys cry and cry about suffering but Serbs can't even walk to school are you guys serious or are you like the Croats now...only 5 Serbs died WWII and it was because the collaborated with the Nazi's! HA! Look at what your people did and what they did to start 1999. Your independence was planned long ago, for decades you guys were just waiting for the right moments and now you use Serbian "abuse" as a cause for independence when it the Albanian dream since the start of the century.

Calling Kosova Islamic or anything related to religion and crime is just ridiculous. I don't agree. Kosova by tradition (born into) is 80-90% Muslim with only 10% of that 90% who are adults over 50 years old are who actually practice it. Again, most Kosovars are born into it, with the traditions; there is no way Kosova is a Muslim-state.

We also have other religions, Catholics, Atheist, etc. This is what makes Kosova unique.

Can't wait for that report to come out, I'm sure it will be exactly what I want to hear, the truth. Actual facts about what is really happening on the ground, not make beliefs and all kinds of reports you hear in Serbianna about this and that.

SRSG will report facts on the ground and not fiction like serbian representative that have done it over and over again in front of UNSC.

Kosovo is the most inhospitable place in the whole of Europe if not the world. Not even Iraq is as bad as the situation in Kosovo. How many people that disagree with independence can speak out. NONE! No civil rights, no life, no income, no employment, only drugs prostitution, and Sex Slavery are visible in KOSOVO. Obviously you dont live there. Ive been to Kosovo and its quite misserable and depressing. Get your facts streight. Because it apears to me that you believe Kosovo is like Hong Kong or something.

God forbid Serbs cut off power to Kosovo. One word comes to mind. Anarchy! What the hell does Kosovo have aside from the mines in the North which belong to the Serbs... and always will. NOTHING. FOREIGN AID. Even that will disapear after illigal delcaration of independence. So get real. NO INDEPENDENCE.

I can see you are getting frustrated, so keep in mind that as soon as the UN resolution was pulled from the vote. Its clear that Kosovo will never be anything but a part of Serbia.

Mike , i agree when you use the word contry, but I totally disagree when you say 'Muslim contry". I wiish you could come to KosovA and see how muslim we are. for us religion is not a problem and anybody can practise what they wish.Again, if you never been in KosovA ,Please take a trip and you will see it for yourself.
I see all police reports every single morning, and i mean whatever has happened throughout KosovA and I know what I am talking about.Serbian MUP just last week sent a letter to UNMIK, and they said that school children are a target for this year. This tells me another scenario of Gorazhdevac is in making. It has al the amrkings of that tragic incident. i have written a lot of facts about that tragic incident on this site and no serb camp had the guts to offer me something that disputes my facts. Anyway most of my coments were eddited by b92 on this subject.

Ahmet, putting "Muslim" in quotes means my government uses that word. Not me. Washington loves to prop Kosovo up as a "Muslim" country that embraces democracy. I agree that's totally ridiculous, and if there's one thing I can commend Albanians on, it is that religion within Albanian communities have little to no friction: Muslim, Orthodox, Catholic, Atheist, it doesn't matter. Yet the US does depict Kosovo - when it depitcs Kosovo at all - as a Muslim area, and there have been many times when US Congressmen have tried to show "oh look, see? Muslims do love democracy! Look at Kosovo! Islam and democracy work!"

Very problematic to say this.

Mike

Ahmet, I expect the report to be mixed and sobering. The diplomatic rhetoric of "a lot of progress has been made in ___________, but work still needs to be done in _________" will dot the report. I highly doubt it will be that Kosovo is all sunshine, rainbows, and lollipops. Political analysts will pick apart the report on both sides and trump up the information that suits their own interests. The US will say "oh, look at the wonderful progress that's been made in a Muslim country" or something like that. Belgrade will look at the sections on Serb minorities and say "they remain isolated, afraid, and oppressed after 8 years", and Europe will probably say something like "the current conditions cannot continue". We've seen this movie before and I think the plotline is pretty predictable.

I remeber very well when Lady Sanda raskoviq Iviq was reporting all kind of bogus incidents and Mr. peterson told her flat out that he is there sees things and he has two ears and two eyes and her reporting was more of propaganda show.

One can assume Ruecker will give himself a resounding pass with merit in this report and that everything is fantastic in Serbia's province!
