Jerseyshore, I think your skills would best serve the Serbian people as the liaison to the Hague for the duration of Carla’s appointment. She really seems to be warming up to us, and I hear she has a “thing” for Serbian guys. I suggest candy and flowers to make the right first impression. Of course Ambassador to Germany might not be a bad idea either.

“Independence is a forgone conclusion (village-bey, 24. August 2007 12:25)”

At this point in time, partition seems far more likely an outcome. These talks are supposed to be about alternative ideas. I also think along with Presevo and possibly Trepca, Serbia could offer reparations and apologies as part of the package. A structure for a Truth & Reconciliation Commission could also be included. There’s a lot of good that could come from a mutually agreed upon partition. I also think both sides should ask for some concrete answers on EU membership and other related issues with the International Community. Basically if we agree to it, then no need for supervision for Kosova (The Albanian part of Kosovo). You guys won’t have to worry about endless international intervention. Those kinds of forces have a tendency to stay forever. US troops are still in Japan and Germany. We could also ask for aid, infrastructure help, whatever.

I think the first step would be things we can both agree on. Like what we want from the international community and rights for each other’s minorities.

If we fail in this, it means unilaterally recognition and partition, and would certainly not be the best way of doing it.

I agree Mike is an awesome guy.

"...hope you do get picked for the team for Serbia's caues.

You sound great, here is my email: jovan_sx@hotmail.com. We should get in touch and talk more..
(Jovan, 24. August 2007 12:07)"

And here goes his first lady victim. Lol. I sense online romance and a date coming soon. Jersey and Jovan let us know how your date went.

Jokes aside, if I were to pick someone who'd be better representing Serbia's interests than the team they have now, I would pick Mike. When I try not to think as an Albanian and try to see this issue from the Serb perspective, Mike's opinions make a lot of sense, in most cases. The majority of you, Jovan included, just spew out rancid Milosevic propaganda; same old same old.

You guys might as well form a band where you can sing songs for "velika Serbia". It could be a hit, considering current circumstances, who knows. Jovan and Cvele could join two. I would recommend Cvele for main singer, since his comments sound a lot like a rap music, you know, endless repetition.

Jokes aside, I am glad that finally some of you agree that Belgrade politicans are a failure.

“The formal agenda of the Vienna talks has not been revealled as yet…”

How could it be revealled?

If the talks were to discuss the future of Kosovo and Metohija, then the Albanians would not turn up. Whey should they when the Americans have already promised them independence from Serbia. What is there left for them to discuss?

If the talks were to discuss the future relations between an “independent” Kosovo and Metohija and the rest of Serbia, then the Serbian government would not turn up.

These are obviously not “talks” at all. This is another American PR execise to “prove” that they have exhaused every avenue to reach a “compromise” with the beligerent Serbs.

I do not doubt you guys intelligence and ability but I think you are wasting your time there. Independence is a forgone conclusion so you better use you persuasive powers towards a more worthy cause.
Adding beauty to the world springs to mind.

Surroi has no political power, since albanians support KLA criminals.

I would also like to submit my services for Serbia's cause - free of charge. I may not be as smart as Luciano and Matthew but, I am a great looking middle aged Serb, the classic Balkan drop-dead lady killer, and appearance counts. Our "Troika" can make the Pristina look like bigger fools than they are. Ceku, Seidju and that Haradinaj guy who is in jail, this is the Pristina team. Good luck! CCCC

well, i think Serbia should choose Voislav Seselj for negotioations as he is very well known for his "contribution" to serbian people and this will be a strong team with Luciano and who ever else wants to be part of it. P.S Don't forget only Surroi is worth more than half of serbian government.

I will join Luciano in offering my services to the Serbian government Pro-Bono. I do strongly believe Luciano has a firm grasp of the Serbian position and I personally would love to work with him.

My IQ is in the top 1% of the 6.6 billion people on this planet and I will easily do a cost/benefit analysis for the Europeans on which scenario is more advantageous for the whole of Europe.

As an American who respects the rule of law above the whims of rulers I will gladly offer my mediation services on behalf of the Serbian government.I assure you there is no better negotiator in the world than myself.

Can't wait until the political bashing starts about who needs to represent the belgrade people in vienna.
