If Kosovo becomes an independent state, then so should every other state or municipality ruled by a minority. Latin americans will be justified in taking back California, Texas, even New Mexico which was unjustly taken from them. As long as Russia sticks to its plan of vetoing this ridiculous proposal, then Kosovo will never be fully recognizsed in the international community simply because there is no other international judiciary body with the power of changing borders.

The Albanians are ready to use violence, yet this is what the UN chooses to use as justification for giving them independance. They have no right to do such a thing in what has historically been Serbian land. If the latin americans in Texas began to start an army, no doubt the UN and EU would allow USA to put the rebellion down. America would never cede its sovereignty, however unfairly gained.
