While in Kosova I read a lot of articles in Kosova Sot and Koha Ditore which were quoting local Kosovar-serbs about how they regret not participating on the elections and how they are going to participate in the upcoming ones. Not to mention I've read articles about new Kosovar parties--why doesn't B92 even acknowledges these facts?

These talks should really be between Kosovar Government and local Kosovar-serbs. Why promise serbia rights and so on, the people that live there know their situation wayyy better than any person in belgrade.

Cvele, that's wishful thinking mixed with a threat.

Honestly guys... do u think we would trust u to repair our churches? What will happen is we will come back and one way or another reclaim control. If independence is declared Serbia will wait for as long as it takes until we can reclaim our territory. And we will. Thats a fact for you.

I mean what other areas in this magical Kosova will attract my interest if these medieval shrines or worship are destroyed?
(My too sense. . ., 16. August 2007 16:54)

Brezovica during the winter.
Malet e Rugoves (summer)
Radac (summer)

Those are a few, btw serbian churches are looking better than ever since Kosova is funding rebuilding and making those china walls all over the place.

My too sense. Thank you for that good question. And my answer to you is yes you can visit too call your friends family and all. As for the churches, i have already condemned some of the attacks and others were just provoked (priests blessing death squads, hiding weapons, preaching hate and others) On top of that there will be renovation to all those badly treated churches because we will be a cultured state and we can say that we are in the right directions with the international people showing us the way. Kosovo has many other things to be explored other than churches, such as nature, investment opportunity, night-life, cheap labour. And so much more, common in.
And Jovan i am already here and trust me with out that visa i am offering you, you will never visit this place (Serbia's holy land) any more!

boys,...you forgot to mention the little term "provisional" before "president"... that´s something you are obviously avoiding deliberately...right?

don´t be too certain, just remember how your provisional ceku met with Mr.Putin and stayed very quiet right after that meeting...and afterwards...you can remember how it turned out to be?

I guess, putting it in your words Adriano...you just do not get it yet.

Adriano,

Can I have a visa to visit this Kosova place? I hear that the Serbian churches and monasteries (particularly the 4 on UNESCO's World Heritage List) are particularly beautiful!

Though I've been hearing that the Albanian majority has been destroying some of these churches. . .that can't be true. . can it, Adriano? I mean what other areas in this magical Kosova will attract my interest if these medieval shrines or worship are destroyed?

Jovan by the time the new cabinet with the president and new prime minister is announced it will be December 10, by that time we are going up, not down and that's guaranteed. Since 99 that Serb influence was pushed out there are only good things to remembered in Kosovo. Surprisingly even in serbia. Now why would you risk loosing that, being isolated, and still holding on to your myths in order to try to discriminate with ones heritage, only you know.
Dont worry body we will give you a visa if you behave good to come visit Kosovo.

Jovan;

President they are called for one reason and one reason only becouse Kosova will become independant regardless of what Belgrade or Russia claims.

Jovan

pre 16 godina

given that within broad autonomy ,what they acually already enjoy, the local albanian leaders can even be called "president", just like the current provisional president..., postponing the elections isn´t quite bad idea...
it´s quite good if those who were boasting all the time about "independence" are still in office when the average Albanians realizes that they have been duped...
so they will know who is responsible for that mess...
