LOL, John you sure do not live in kosovo or ever been there. I had actually 4 apartments in Kosovo. 3 in a Serb dominated area which lost power all the time, if the had power 24 hrs then i must have been staying in the wrong area. Power was out continously you were lucky to have it 4-6 hours per day. Now my last apartment was in a albanian majority area and i had power 6 on 4 off. So please get your facts straight dude. When you live there then tell me when the Serbs had power 24 hours a day. You sir are talking out your arse when it comes to power supply. If you add up what both sides owe KEK i think the majority if they don't pay would have the largest bill sir. Sir i am not going to comment on the pension plan because i don't about it but the power part i do. LOL 24 hours for Serbs area give me a break. I froze my butt off because of no power then i think i should know. Also sir, if KEK is having problems A block does not always have power like say nor B. When President Rugova died and visitors came to Kosovo to pay respect all power was diverted to Pristina. KFOR remodeled and powered the building where he laid in state. KEK said they would provide power but the UNMIK official said no thanks and called up KFOR provide power. Thanks for allowing us B92 to voice our opinions

So you compare a bill like 20 euros to 87 million EUROS?

Thats 119,068,148 USD. Just checked...and still going.

In Kosova we have the ABC plan. Turf A means the whole turf pays their bill their electricity is between 18-21 hrs.

Turf B pays less their electricity is somewhere 10-15 hrs daily.

Turf C gets whatever is left bc they pay the least or not pay it at all.

BUT the Kosovar-Serbs get 24hr non-stop electricity and owe at least 119 million dollars and you want to tell me I'm wrong? Don't tell me they don't have money to pay it, they are getting Kosovar Government Pension (even though they have not contributed a cent) and from serbia.

Real Canadian,
where does my comment says that I admit to starting the other wars??

You are absolutely right when it comes to the debt question. History will show the reasons the war and fighting started. I have even read bosnian propaganda blaiming the serbs for the destruction of the mostar bridge.

Stop arguing back and forth about who should pay what.

How about Serbia 'pay' for all the lives lost in the Balkans, because our lonely solar system knows who started all the wars in the Balkans.

JHam

IF you want your own country then you must pay your own bills. Democracy is not free and you must also pay taxes to support your government. Serbia is not going to finance Kosovo anymore so get used to it. Just being upfront and honest. Since you want freedom you must pay for it. Different country as if you wanted that way. So please don't come complaining because freedom is not free. Tex, if everyone had to pay for damages then we would all be broke. Ahmet, put the past in the past and leave it there. You want to have freedom then it will cost you. Kosovo has it's own debt and the majority wants freedom so pay your own bills. Also john about kek everyone owes kek not just Serbs. Now when a local newspaper prints the names of individuals and business of who has not paid there bills then you can come back here and complain about not paying kek. Everyone paid there bill kek would not have all the problems they have now.

If Albanians want pensions, they must pay taxes and back taxes and also for decades of electricity, water, and gas use they took but didn't pay for.

They must also pay for Pristina University, which Serbia built, and most all the other buildings.

Serbia was levied a special tax, the money of which all went to Kosovo. The other Republics didn't have to pay the tax.

Serbia paid the bulk of funds sent to Kosovo.

Albanians burned or stole thousands of Serbian homes and farms.

The Albanians have for 8 years prevented Serbs from living or using their property.

Serbs should be paid rent for all their homes and apartments which have been inhabited and used by Albanians and the international community.

It wasn't Albania which built up Kosovo, it was Serbia.

Plus the museums of Kosovo had all the gems and precious stones stolen after the KLA and NATO took charge.

Albanians also should pay for all the churches, monateries and icons they damaged and destroyed.

John

Here is what serbia owns Kosova.

1. Paying for the pension funds that no Kosovar is receiving that is theirs. Kosovars didn't have a choice if they wanted a pension or not, their money was taken from their checks.

2. Burning of hundreds of thousands of houses, mosques, stores/shops, for destruction of all its roads (20 ton tanks driving everywhere).

Those are just a few that come off right at the top of my mind.

Also this isn't the debt that serbia (the country) owes but the serbian people of Kosova (87 million EUROS) to KEK (Korporata Energjetike e Kosovës).
I thought I'd mention this because every time someone mentions that Kosovar-serbs don't pay a dime to Kosova Government and yet they receive 24/7 energy other commentors bring up the "debt" that serbia pays for Kosova.

Avi, Serbia did not exploit the other republics, and if anyone did exploiting, it was Slovenia.

As for Kosovo, the Serbs have invested countless billions of dollars into there. Remember, Pristian did not have ONE paved street in 1945. Who paid for everything in Kosovo? The Serbs. Who manipulated the development funds in Kosovo? The albanians.

we shall not pay a cent for damages in 1999. We were fighting KLA terrorists, and then NATO bombed us. NATO went about to destroy the infrastructure in the entire country... they bombed a lot of infrastructure in Kosovo too. And their bombing produced almost all of the crimes that the serbs did - they were a logical consequence that the US state department predicted.

Stop arguing back and forth about who should pay what.

How about Serbia 'pay' for all the lives lost in the Balkans, because our lonely solar system knows who started all the wars in the Balkans.

"Milane, please allow me to reply to Tex:

-- an ethinicly cleansed Kosovo prior to 1999
-- demolished or vandalized the vast majority of Serbian Orthodox Church property Kosovo i Metohija
-- Ethnic Albanians inability to live in peace within any of its neighboring nation-state's borders.
-- No taxes paid in the last 8 years.
-- Incidently, have ethnic Albanians living Kosovo ever paid taxes?
-- making Kosovo the economic black hole of Yugoslavia.
-- religious radicalization of its population
-- harboring and training of/with Al qaeda terrorist
-- ethnic Albanian population brainwashed since Ottoman times on through current times under war criminal/mafioso leadership to HATE Serbs."

no no vrnjak, dont you see?
Its all a conspiracy by Belgrade. After all why admit that Kosovo Albanians are at fault for anything when they can just pass the blame on Serbians?

Real Canadian,
where does my comment says that I admit to starting the other wars??

You are absolutely right when it comes to the debt question. History will show the reasons the war and fighting started. I have even read bosnian propaganda blaiming the serbs for the destruction of the mostar bridge.
