Michael, there are plenty of people in the US that call for the impeachement of Pres Bush, and they demonstrate and speak on TV, write on newspaper and publish books. None of them is in Guantanamo or strapped to the electric chair. Even though mind you, Bush didn't expell 10% of his country citizens, and kill tens of thousands of them, but I doubt that what Mr Cvetkovic was protesting for.

Zoran, the financing of OTPOR and others in Serbia’s “Democratic Opposition” is well documented in the West. The following article is a good introduction, but this information is also widely available from all major newspapers in the West.

Lollee, like many people in Serbia you want to be part of “Europe” without explaining exactly what this means. I don’t think the Serbian public has the faintest idea of what awaits them in “Europe.”

Let me tell you what Serbia will be like if it ever joins the EU. You will be highly taxed and regulated. Your farmers will be put out of business because they cannot meet strict EU hygiene rules. Young Serbians will leave the country to work as cleaners and builders in the West. Your towns and cities will be economically dead and filled only with pensioners and the infirm.

And finally if you or Mr Cvetkovic should dare organise a “Democratic Opposition” to the regime in Brussels, then you will be neutralised if you become too threatening.

Welcome to the EU!

I am shocked when I read these comments..I can't believe you, Micheal..still sprouting that communist, Milosevic propaganda. Unbelievable!! I live here in Serbia and I am proud that we had OTPOR and all the other groups who helped oust Milosevic. Unfortunately his cronies still rule supreme and it is exactly your philosophy they use..traitors, CIA blah blah. The only thing I am thankful is that you obviously do not live here. People here in Serbia want to be part of Europe and to be just basically normal. How can we if the only link we have to outside world is spewing Milosevic propaganda!! Shame on you..

Mr Stefan Cvetkovic was a member of the CIA-funded OTPOR student group that was part of the Putsch that toppled President Milosevic.

Mr Cvetkovic should thank his lucky stars that he is a citizen of tolerant and forgiving Serbia. If an American was financed by a foreign Power to help overthrow a serving American President, then he would quickly find himself languishing in Guantanamo Bay or perhaps strapped to the Electric Chair.

By contrast, in Serbia Mr Cvetkovic is now a pillar of the community and even owns his own TV station.

Be brave mr. Editor in chief.
Dont let police and people who blackmail, hinder the process to a better future!
It is tragic when the law itself turns against justice, and i think the last straw that can aide is the media.
Once again good luck finding the bad guy, and for the investigation to have a speedy result. And thank you b92 for still trying to find an equilibrium.

Sounds like this editor is doing his job properly. If you don't flush out criminals and expose corruption you don't get death threats. Keep up the good work and I hope you survive.
