Sorry for the mistake. I was thinking of KPS when I wrote KPC.

Srbosvlav,
KPS has come to existence years after the UN entered Kosovo (so not 1999). For such a young police force, they are very correct, trained and professional. On the other hand, when speaking about the Serb police many don't think of police as it exists in the most of the western world, but rather as some organization that inflicts pain and terror into the population.

Some people here can not tell the difference from KPC and KPS.
Fatos and serboslav need some leasons. I am not suprised at serboslav but the name Ftaos sounds Albanian and I know for a fact that any Albanian can tell the difference from KPC and KPS.
KPC=TMK and KPS=Kosova Police Sevices.

Fatos, are you kidding!

The should turn to the KPC for help?!?!

I mean, the KPC really have a good reputation when it comes to fighting crime in Kosovo, doesn't they?

After they were in charge in 1999, there have been no more drug smuggling, dealing with stolen cars, human trafficing, wite slavery/prostitution in Kosovo, right? Do you thing the the KPC have a good reputation internationally for being non corrupt, and effective at fighting crime?

They should turn to KPC (Kosovo Police) for help. Their success in stopping crime in Kosovo should be a lesson for the Serb police.

Also, people... relax this was not ETHNICALLY MOTIVATED. I know you are shocked, but IT IS possible for an Albanian to engage in a criminal activity, as it is possible for a person of any other ethnicity. Paranoia doesn’t help.

There is no reason for the Serbian security forces to waste their time on the Hungarian-Romanian-Croatian borders.All their resources should be concentrated in south Serbia.

A bit that was left out that Ljajic said:

'Co-oeration between UNMIK police, KFOR and the Serbian police is necessary in order to identify the perpetrators who mainly escape to Kosovo - Metohija, where they are able to hide without problems.'

As I stated to my mind it looks both criminal and political. As yet it does not seem like terrorism.
