To Ahmet Istufi -

You truly do hate to go back & forth as you are one to want/think he has the last word. FINALLY Kate has come along & check mate. Not to say anything other than a clearly diplomatic post & a smooth reply!

BTW - why does ANYONE who posts on B92 that remotely "appears" to be "pro-Serb" automatically have to be Serbian?

Thank you Norway, for helping the KosovO Serbs!

The "Kosovan" people, louie, and I'm talking about the ethnic Albanians are notorious now in Norway for their criminal behavior - violent armed robberies and steet gangs.

louie

Thats a good news.
Norway is a rich country who were always very generous when it comes to helping people. They helped Kosovan People in Norway and now they are helping in Kosova/o.
Once the status will be known, a lot of foreign countries will help and all of us will realize that Mr.Ahtissari's proposal wasn't as bad as we thought.
In the end of the day we want a better future and something gotta give for Kosovan People!

Ahmet, I’ve noticed that you’ve gotten more moderate and more reasonable in your comments. I know it may be a while before you are able to truly reconcile, but I applaud you for this even if you do not notice it. I know its been tough on your people in the past, but I’m extremely happy that you support the assistance Norway is providing. The fact that you support what Norway is doing helps me to believe that maybe things will change in time in Kosovo and maybe just maybe there is a chance for true multiculturalism.

Let us try to focus on the things that we agree on and not that which divides us.

Thank you Ahmet for pointing out what you agree with before stating what you disagree with. This is a very good sign for the future relations of our people.

"Serbia/Russia protecting Europe from USA invasion". Olf, too late, the US invaded Europe in 1944 and never left unlike the Russians who withdrew in the late 80's early 90's. I just love Monty Python's Flying Circus, the English have a good sense of humor!

Well lets see. All that matter is Kosovo is Serbia and there are NO albaians there. Only Serbian citizens. Including urself if im not mistaken. Even if u live in US and u were born in Kosovo ur still Serbian citizen because US does not make u give up ur passport for theirs. Znaci brate Srbine. Resolution 1244.

Kate,
I hate to go back and forth with coments but you did it again and I you proved me right."I have a problem with violence and war, and I feel very strongly that the USA/ Nato should not be allowed to use the KLA as a land army due to body bag syndrome and then reward them with a large chunk of territory which legally belongs to another nation", what are you implyinmg here Kate?, and also;"
You may feel passionately as an Albanian, but why am I not allowed to feel strongly as a European for the reasons stated to Ahmet above? . Simply put Kate why don't you say you have absolute right to feel like tru serbian rather than european. Another farce, sorry but I had to say it.

Hey! Look at that! Money coming in to help Serb communities! Wonderful! Let's see more of this!

Let's just leave it at that and not try to turn every comment section into an argument (this goes for both sides).

Ahmet - I have no problem at all with Albanians or any other group.

I have a problem with violence and war, and I feel very strongly that the USA/ Nato should not be allowed to use the KLA as a land army due to body bag syndrome and then reward them with a large chunk of territory which legally belongs to another nation.

If the current US administration manages to act in this empirical fashion then what next? And the EU appear to be so spineless.

And to Teni (apologies for cross-threading, but it's relevant) - I assume then that you are against the publication of hitlists in Kosovan newspapers, which is good news. Perhaps this explanation of my stance will satisfy you as well.

You may feel passionately as an Albanian, but why am I not allowed to feel strongly as a European for the reasons stated to Ahmet above?

Your annoyance is because I express views about the place that you live. But I live in Europe too and don't believe that independence should be granted outside of UN procedure.

It was Russia's right to use her veto, just as any other country with that power can use their veto. Rightly or wrongly - that is the system in place.

It could be equally argued that these systems established to protect international law are being brazenly abused by those with a vote who seek to pressure the decision of others.

I cant wait to read headings like " Serbia &Russia protecting Europe form USA invasion". This sound like taken form , Monty Python Flying Circus 
For those that have no clue where Kosova is never mind the situation here is a statement of a European to who you deny the right for self determination.
Being European with full rights as any other European free to choose I state, "I Do Not Accept Serbia as My Country x 2milion".
How are you going to deal with it.
People in Serbia know this that why they are not bothered to chat in here. People of Serbia have many other things to do, like care for work, their future in EU not in some myths that Princip mentions here and Kate& co naively supports.
Guys we know what best suit Serbs and Albanians. Don’t bring back Milosevic ideas.

Dear Ahmet. Let's put this into context:

My comment was: "It's also one in the eye for the thugs who think that burning down houses will prevent the return of people to their own property in Kosovo."

Your response was: "I guess the hatred towards Albanians that you have it within you cannot hide it at least for 2 minutes in your life. Its a shame."

Did I even mention the word Albanian? No. So please knock off your ranting and accusations. Leave the personal attacks against me to Teni. At least he has a decent stab at it.

Ahmet Isufi,
Because Kate said, “It's also one in the eye for the thugs who think that burning down houses will prevent the return of people to their own property in Kosovo.
You replied, “I guess the hatred towards Albanians that you have it within you cannot hide it at least for 2 minutes in your life. Its a shame”.
What is wrong with Kate’s comments and how does it show any hatred? She mentioned no ethnic group and the word Albanian was not even in her response. Hatred is shown when someone burns down someone’s house regardless of the ethnicity of the person responsible. That is a shame. Why do you think Kate is referring to Albanians?

Ahmet Isufi

Kate for once I totally agreed with your coment as I was reading but than when I reached the last(fourtht) paragraph I said to myself no she done it againg. I guess the hatred towards Albanians that you have it within you cannot hide it at least for 2 minutes in your life. Its a shame.

Good move Norway. People won't return to nothing, and this is a really positive signal. Hopefully other countries will follow suit.

Returns of displaced people are much more likely if these sorts of projects are launched. There has to be hope for children and young people, in these enclaves and also throughout Kosovo.

Irresponsible adults just seem to be teaching hate and bigotry which prevents a movement forward socially regardless of whether Kosovo remains part of Serbia or gains independence.

It's also one in the eye for the thugs who think that burning down houses will prevent the return of people to their own property in Kosovo.
