The Clinton's were ruling the country during the years 9/11 was set up - something like that would take years of planning - so they do get some blame.
Especially sine in early 1993 there was another attack on the World Trade Towers. That should have made monitoring them a priority. In the first attack, Ramsay Yousef (sp) had planned to topple one until it fell onto its twin. But that didn't happen. He was being watched closely by the FBI the whole time, but they didn't stop him or take away his explosives, and they knew he had explosives before the attack.
Oh, and one can't forget how they blamed Serbs at first for the 1993 attack. Why should any Serbs care at this point if Clinton gets overblamed for some things when he has gone scot-free on so many crimes he and his wife have perpetrated or been involved with.
The author, John R. Schindler, is billed as a 'researcher' at the American Enterprise Institute, a far-right policy "think-tank" in Washington DC. Despite the breathless promotional blurb, Schindler's book is based more on hype, rumor and innuendo than on original research and verifiable documentation. Those who are ideologically inclined to agree with the book's premise in the first place will of course take it at face value. But that doesn't make it a work of serious history.
A story on CNN in 2001 right before NATO attacked Afghanistan, claimed that 70 or so of Al-Qaeda's top people fled to Muslim Bosnia. The story was quickly removed but to this day I believe that the Muslim Bosnian government is providing safe harbour for them and possibly Bin Laden himself. How can this be, wouldnt NATO/US know about this? Yes they would and yes it could be!
The book is published by Zenith Press and costs £18.99. I really was shocked at the extent of US support for Muslim extremists in Bosnia. I felt my sympathy fro 9/11 ebbing away.
