Tim you are absolutely right. There were less than 500 KLA casualties within Kosovo. This is because the KLA rarely had a stand-up fight with the State security forces and spent most of their time terrorising and committing atrocities against Albanian/Serbian/Roma etc civilians. Terrible times in Kosovo for the civilians what with NATO bombing everything in sight and the terrorists sneaking round causing trouble.

For gad’s sake Jack I am not a prosecutor, neither I know anything about that person! As I said on my e-mail I am only speculating on absence of information. Same happened to French investigators who tortured Algerians seeking independence from France, during Algerian struggle for independence, after that they’ve suffered from nightmares, suicides etc. My point was, once in affect state humans are capable to do horrifying crimes by creating feeling of s discuss and demonizing other ethnic group, once they start thinking clearly they realize what they’ve done to fellow human beings, to Childs for example, and their guilty conscious will hunt them forever. Fact remain that horrific atrocities were committed in Kosova before and during the war, around 10000 people are either missing or found dead, only tiny minority of them were KLA fighters. Terrifying statements were collected by international organization and well documented. If you have chosen to live in total denial for what Serbian forces (paramilitary, army, police etc) have done in Kosova I can’t help you

Tim.
Unless you have proof that Mr Protic was witness to/involved in the tragic death of the Ahmeti family and that this caused his mental illness then your posts are in no way constructive. Please stay on-topic and refrain from random propaganda.

Hi Jack, I'll appreciate more constructive debate instead of jumping to conclusions and offending, but I leave that to your manners! I don't know why link didn't work? Please go to Google image and ask for: Ahmeti family poklek atrocities, you'll find photos of victims, names, location, map, family, date of birth and report of human right watch etc

Jack

pre 16 godina

Thanks Tim for a bunch of links which don't work. No doubt if they had worked I would have seen random pictures of dead people without any proof of their identity, ethnicity, location, cause of death and circumstances surround their death. THIS IS NOT EVIDENCE of culpability it is nothing more than pictures of dead people. Gruesome viewing but pictures on their own mean nothing and people that spread pictures around without supporting forensic investigative reports are sick propagandists who obviously have no desire for a lessening of tensions and hatreds.

OK Jack, please find the links below (I have to worn you as follow human being that photos are horrifying, you’ll see murdered child - Blerim as young as 6 years old):

Feel sorry for the guy.
I gues the previous treatments did not work.
How is the treatment in Serbia now a days. It use to be crapie, before 1999.
Maybe, switched to Russian Medicines?

First of all,I feel sorry for the guy.But why link everything with Kosova/o!
Maybe the guy has mental problems, maybe his problems have nothing to do with Kosova/o.
Why always generalising things,or maybe that is the easiest part.
We should find something that can bring us closer and not this nonsense.
I wish this guy a full recovery and hopefully one day he will be OK.
Thats try something that we can agree on even though it will be the biggest task of the century!!!

Can any of you Ahmet, Tim etc post links to where you get the information for your ridiculous posts on this thread. By the way my news source said some of the body parts he had to collect had been partially consumed. No wonder the poor man is feeling a little low.

Who knows if he even has "vietnam syndrome"..it could be that he just cracked. Maybe he is bipolar or maybe some other mental illness. Let the doctors decide. It is always easy to blame everyone except yourself.

Since Mr. Ranđelović didn’t t give details for Mr. Protic desire to harm himself, we can only speculate on this issue. I am not psychologist to give expert opinion on this issue but in general, among many reasons for people to commit suicide is feeling of guilt, doing something against someone’s basic life values. I can’t deny that there is posttraumatic stress involved (even though he was a soldier in army that significantly outnumbered KLA) as well, but deep down we are all humans with conscious, i.e. priory to being Serbians or Albanians, so I would speculate that Mr. Protic was a victim of mob thinking during the war of Kosova and probably he himself or his closed friends (him being witness) participated on a number of horrific crimes (e.g. killing of young &old innocent people, rapes ) committed by certain groups people and by witnessing the ordeal of new born babies, young kids and elderly being part of soaking wet, hungry and exhausted convoy of people expelled by Serbian forces was probably too much for him, so once he was out of that environment he could think clearly and he realized what he or his fellow soldiers have done and now he can’t live with himself?

Jack

I read on another news source that he is traumarised from having to collect up the body parts of Serbian and Roma teenagers found after the VJ overran a KLA stronghold in Drenica. Poor chap. Must have been an awful experience. Lets hope he can make a full recovery.

Ahmet,
Your posts are ridiculous sometimes and extremely chauvinistic. You know full well that a large part of soldiers in any army suffer from post traumatic stress disorder when they serve in action. In this case, why is it hard to believe that his stress stems from trying to combat the terrorist activities of the KLA while they were being criminally bombed by nato? Heck, I'd be stressed to! Frankly I'm surprised that you are allowed to continually spread misinformation as a form of propaganda on this site.

Ahmet - for goodness sake, you take the most cheap opportunities to try and score points. None of us know much about this guy.

He was being bombed by the world's most poweful military alliance for 78 days. There is nothing to say that he took part in anything or what atrocities he may have seen (he may have or may not have). Just living for 3 months with your life endangered is enough to make anyone's mental state unbalanced.

And what of all those young Albanian guys forced to fight with the KLA? You think it was much different for them?

Any kind of conflict or war must have the most terrible effect on even the strongest mind.

Ahmet Isufi

I feel for the guy and most likely as a young soldier had to obey the orders of his superior and had to do the unthinkable and some things so horrofic that now is in such state of mind that he probably sees those moment when thy were killing helpless people and causing mayhem. I would like to get hold of recorded minutes while intervied by phycologist.
