Masked gunmen open fire at police in south

Isufi is the Al Sharpton of Albanians. If someone said Snow White was white, he would automatically say racism.

The claims of racism are preposterous and frivolous. Terrorist activities, attacks against the police and the citizens in that part of Serbia are nothing new and we all know who engages in them.

This is a case of albanians trying to stir things up and get a heavy handed response by the Serb police, so that they can then call CNN and claim racism. I have news for the albanians, your tricks will not work, the americans are not coming to your rescue this time, Mr. Kostunica and Mr. Tadic are winning the public relations war this time, the Serbs have truth and justice on their side (as always), and this time a strong and rising Russia is 100% behind Serbia.

The Serbian Police's ability and will to take on and win a fight against armed bandits is proof of the fact that Serbia is a fully functional country.

The Police's ability to identify the criminals AS criminals rather than trying to stir up ethnic tensions by claiming they are Albanian terrorists is indicative of the maturity and impartiality of Serbia's institutions and their determination to not discriminate between their citizen's on grounds other than whether they have broken the law or not.

Well done MUP for winning against these bandits and well done for not using this incident to stir up ethnic tensions.

The attacker is identified as an Albanian: "He was identified as Dalipi Enver, 22, from Končulj."

And the fact that they were masked when the Serbian police shot at them showed they were shooting at criminals, and not an ethnic group, because they would not necessarily know who they were if they were a mysterious masked group.

Why don't these Albanians practice their theft in Britain or another NATO country which supports their "rights" which apparently mean the right to be in gangs and steal.

When there are no casualties on the Serb side, against terrorism and theft, that is a victory and a cause for celebration.

All I was trying to say not to jump to a premature conclusion. NOW, if robbers were Albanian so be it and I hope they get what they deserve. In no way do I condone this type of criminal acts,on contrary i condem it to the fullest.There is anotther thing that all of should keep in mind, whenever there is a burglary or some other crime in Kosova nd the victim is a serb don't jump to conclusion to claim it as interethinc incident. Crime knows no boundyries and definately no ethnicity.

Only few days ago a serb was arrested in Kosova for robbing other serbs. Robberies and crimes of this type can be done by any group of people or ethnicity. I do know know why the serbs are feeling like winners here when there is no reason to feel so.
I understand the need of serbs to find anything possible to try to show that Albanians are bad, but after all, the west is in Kosova and they see who is good and who is bad. They see who should rule Kosova and who should not Rule Kosova anymore.

Interior Minister has found up a fact that this guy has a very thick criminal file!? What has been waited to arrest him at the very moment of preparing the complot? If he was a criminal, he should have been tracked on all the time. This is not at all convincing to me. It means this isn’t running parallel with my point of view, even I’m not denying either statement.
Few minutes ago I read the news about an attack with the Molotov cocktails carried out by unknown individuals in the middle of Belgrade to the house of an Albanian. Now I would ask all of my Co-commentators: of what nature is this attack?

No different then the one in Vienna by the albanian son and father that attacked and stabbed the young Serb in a restaurant. But unlike those 2 attacks... this is a terrorist one with NO one denying that there were rocket launchers and automatic weapons used. So if I were you I would pray that the investigation doesnt turn anything up and that there is NO repeat.
