Marko,

What a pathetic attempt to try and use these 60 Roma for and anti-Serb tirade. Romania are in the EU so its no suprise that it acts as a magnet for Roma and Moldovians.

Why not visit Vojvodina. Go look at the numerous Slovak, Ruthene, Croatian, Romanian, Ukranian, and Magyar (amongst others) villages. Your ill informed view of an ethnically pure Serbia doesn't hold water.

Marko,
Your comment is i think racist. have you any ideas howm many Montenegrins, Croats, Alabanians & Slovins live in Serbia. A large number i can tell you. They are happy to live in a country that allows people to prosper no matter what background.

Montenegrins dont want to live with Serbs, Croatians dont, Slovenes dont, neither Macedonians or Albanians - and now Roma dont want to live with Serbs either. When will Serbia learn that they are becoming a Russian republic and no-one (absolutely no-one) wants anything to do with them.

Is everybody wrong or there is something wrong w/ Serb leadership.

Almost a million people from the Republic of Moldova(a large percentage of its total population) have requested Romanian citizenship since Romania became an official member of the EU so it is a bit surprising as to why many more people from Serbia have not sought Romanian citizenship especially the ethnic Romanians living in Voivodina. Can the editors enlighten me as to whether the ethnic Romanians in Serbia are legally entitled to dual citizenship(Serbian and Romanian)and what their total population is in Voivodina?

Let's get this right. Roma who fled Serbia to other EU countries were forcably returned to Serbia (Germany for example applied major pressure to 'repatriate' the Roma).

No comment on where these Roma originally came from. Are some of them part of the 100,000 that were ethnically cleansed by the KLA in 1999?

The EU doesn't want them (is it money or racism?), Serbia can't afford them, the EU/UN does very little to help them stay put. For all the talk about human rights, the Roma are still at the bottom of the pile and treated badly by those who claim to be acting in 'humanitarian' interests. That include the European Parliament... What a sad joke.
