One wonders if this cache of arms got through last night what with the distraction of border posts being attacked - one wonders if they are not connected and what else got through?

Ahmet, the key points of this article are that the handguns were smuggled from Macedonia and found in the possession of people living in Pristina and other parts of Kosovo & Metohija dominated by the ethnic Albanian minority. What is your point about the country of manufacture? To answer your question to Princip; it seems evident that a large multi-national army is incapable of preventing large caches of illegal arms(and quite probably other contraband, such as heroin)from making its way into K&M. As a law abiding resident, aren't you disturbed? Why would an offer of assistance from the Serbian police or armed forces upset you, if it kept guns and drugs off the streets?

CZ 6.35mm (Ceska Zbrojovka) is a small caliber (25 ACP) handgun with no stopping power, effective only against the attackers without firearms.

This find is a drop in the bucket and perhaps intended as a red herring- Kosovo Albanian extremists have more than 400 000 long barrels, including American-supplied Barrett 12.74mm long range sniper rifles.

25 ACP is no threat to peacekeepers, Barrett rifles and US-supllied landmines are, but none of them is ever found by Kosovo Police.

I guess the KLA-PS are making it hard for Kurti and his boys to get tooled up.

NATO is not doing the job they are suppose to in Kosovo, they have no credibility left. The EU will not support a war for you people. Bush will not have the American Congress approval to lead the way with illegal unilateral declaration of indecency, he has used up all his favors in congress with the Iraq war. Serbia is enjoying multi-Billions of Euros investments from HUGE industrial powers like China, India, Russia and yes even your beloved USA, did you know that American business has over 20 Billion dollars invested interest in business in Serbia, do you really think the US government is going to jeopardize American business interest over you people? What I have learned from your frequent posts (if I can understand them correctly) is that with the passing of time you have been unable to move forward and find peace. Because of this, you lack objectivity in your comments causing me to question what you write. Your words tell me that you view much of life through anger and hatred and for that, I feel sorry for you.

Well the origin of those brand new weapons is Serbia. So, security, law and order in Serbia are so pourous and your police and military forces are not able to control the smuggling of weapons from Serbia. Even worst as some of comments here guide to the idea that the weapons were dedicated against K-Serbs. This a fact that shows how much Serbia cares for K-Serbs.
