This is one of my major criticism of the Orthodox world, its nationalism. I am a Latin - Rite (Roman) Catholic and during my 22 months serving with US KFOR I had the distinct honor to experience Divine Liturgy at Visoki Decani, the Monastery at Gracanica, the Church of St. Uros in Urosevac, one in Strpce, and several in the Kosovska Vitina Municipality.

I have a deep respect and admiration for my separated brethren but when the East has stumbling blocks within themselves it seems that unity between the two Holy and Apostolic churches are a ways off still.

Can this possibly be the silliest issue. Let them build what ever they want. Who cares, you employee construction workers, develop a better infastructure and collect higher property taxes.

The two churches are nearly identical. I really can't see what the problem is. Orthodoxy can sometimes seem more fragmented than Protestantism.
