You should know that Delta's propaganda is one thing, while the reality is another. The shares of Kras were never up for sale, simple as that. There was no police intervention, no nothing, the Slovenian government has nothing to do with Kras either, not one share is owned by it. For further info check this out:

It was just like when Delta was saying that Slovenian authorities do not want them in the country just because none of the available locations in Ljubljana met their demands. Well, if they demand the impossible is Slovenia the bad guy for not giving it to them?

And just so you know, a German product was also suspected of having salmonella, it also happened to Slovenian products in the past. There is nothing political about this, but obviously some influential people have an interest in making it that way.

Bob Petrovich,

Don't worry too much about Slovania, they are a tiny little country who think they are more important then they are. They hardly make an impact to Serbia much less the world.

Slovenia has demonstrated that entering the EU does not mean that the old habits have been abandoned. Namely, communist meddling of politics into economy. Recently, Slovenian authorities blocked the sale of Slovenian meat processing plant to Serbian company who was the highest bidder. Not only that, but authorities threatened police action against Slovenian shareholders if they dare to sell their own shares. Now, they have invented salmonella scare with imported Serbian cookies. This is an example of non-tariff barriers in force and dirty political meddling in economy.

Serbia has to take a cue and respond in the same manner, because good relations can be built only on the same footing. Until Slovenia get the clear message, they will not change their behavior toward Serbia.
