Luciano, goals should be realistic. 2010 is not.
In 2,5 years Serbia will not be ready to join the EU. And I believe it would be a mistake to make all CEFTA-members a single group. Serbia in many aspects is not far behind of let's say Rumania and Bulgaria. Moldova is a totally different story. Why try to artificially make a group that would only slow us down?

Personally I would see 2012 as the first somewhat realistic opportunity for Serbia.

If we want to join at all...

Lol. CEFTA members will not join the EU by 2010. Chances are that since the EU can not adopt new members until a new EU treaty is made and there is a high chance that a new treaty will not be adopted and even if it is the Dutch have made comments they support no further expansion. Unless it is clear that membership is possible and that it is not some unknown date years away it's better for Serbia to try to do what Switzerland, Norway and Iceland have done -- they are not EU members are but are heavily involved in the workings of the EU.

2010 as the year for all 7 CEFTA countries to join should be the goal. This may go a long way in pacifing the separatist movements in 5 of these countrie. That is the carrot to be offered to the separatist Slavs in Transdniester/Moldova,the separatist Serbs and Croats in Bosnia and the separatist Albanians in Macedonia and Montenegro and Kosovo.
