Serbia, Bulgaria sign military agreement

Serbia should also establish close military cooperation with Macedonia and Montenegro in order to better coordinate security in that area.

Bulgaria is certainly interesting at this time. They seem to be leaning East very strongly at this moment.

There recent comments by Bulgaria in support of Russian influence in Europe prove that Russia is in fact a European power and the EU needs to acknowledge and prepare for Russia's eventual membership. The political blocks for a New Europe are starting now, and anyone who ignores the future of the EU will be left behind. Russia's concerns need to be taken seriously and its role in European politics needs to be established in a healthy manner that is positive for the future of us all. The EU + Russia will surpass the US easily in political influence around the world. The EU needs to realize, like Bulgaria already has, that there is much to gain by treating East European countries with respect and a feeling of brotherhood. The EU should not be a country where major West European powers like the UK, France and Germany impose their will on everyone else.

Bulgaria is playing it very smart, a balance between East and West. Not too mention the have beautiful women and lovely Black Sea resorts.

Romania is also a very important parter too Serbia, more so than Bulgaria.
