Taxi drivers demand rate increase

The Association of Belgrade Taxi Drivers is demanding an 11 percent increase in rates.

When i went back there last year on Holiday in Octobar they charged us 2000 Dinar's to get to downtown belgrade were we had an Apartment. Those 1600 Dinars is 50 Australian dollars, thats how much it cost us to get back home here in Australia from the Airport. When its a lot cheaper over there the real price is more like 600 dinars.

Many of them already make more than enough money by ripping off customers, e.g tha ride from surcin airport into downtown belgrade. they never charge the advertised rate in the airport, but make it up as they go along.
