Max,

You and Abanian mates really do have your head in the clouds. Lets face it Police Brutality in Kosovo was provoked by Terrorist who would often kill and injure innocent police officers who’s only job was protecting Kosovo civilians from a minority extremist group called the KLA.
What happened in this Serbian night club could have happened anywhere. Serbian police like many across the Balkans have a tough job with little rewards yes occasionally they do make mistakes.
Max before you and your mates start high fiving each other I suggested you look at the state of the Kosovo (Albanian controlled) police force today. You and i know that they are nothing more then undisciplined thugs with no training. I suggest you think about how sweet life was when Kosovo had law and order and before it became a Narco State.

My buddy Joe. If your comments didn't make me laugh so much, I would have to think that you don't like me at all. My parents were immigrants, in that you are correct. Both my Mother and Father "made it" quite well thank you for your concern. Both had good paying blue collar jobs (not many of those left). I grew up living the "American dream", I had everything anyone could have asked for. Today I live on a private lake, in house my Father founded and has paid off (no mortgage). I served in the US Air Force as a military policeman (Security Police). Your prediction about me is bogus. What has "affected me deeply" is how far this great country (Greatest ever) has fallen and how quickly. It will take people of great conviction and fortitude to turn us around before it's to late, sadly you don't seem to be in that category. Posters like Mike, Jake, Anthony, Luciano, and Matthew are what this country needs so desperately now, to bad that the good people here have no power, things could be so much different.

Joe, your comments are always full of sarcasm. I am an American of Serbian heritage. It is my constitutional right, just like Zoran's and yours, to criticize my government if I so choose. It's called the first amendment. Look it up. Just because I do not agree with all the actions or policiesof my government, does not mean that I should move to Venezuela or Russia, or even Albania for that matter. Where my government is so loved, for now. Please stop playing junior psychiatrist and keep focused on the subject matter of the stories, and not on personal ridicule of commentators.

To have posted what you did Max & Joe is completely irrevalant to the topic discussed. So, since you opened the door for discussion -

To Max - how about the people that were killed by the UN during "your" peaceful march? I don't see you posting anything about those deaths!
Joe - the last time I checked and I'm certain the last time you checked - KosovO is still a part of Serbia, unless you are of course looking at the proposed "greater albania" map.

Zoran,
There is no perfect world. The US is however a good place to live. That is the reason why hundreds of millions would like to emigrate to the US and not to your beloved Russia, Serbia or Venezuela. We also have to work hard and not wait for the state to take care of us.
If I understood it correctly you were born here of Serbian parents. I do not know what brought your parents here, what illusion but I can guess that "they never made it" as people would say. You heard they daily complains, witnessed their unhappiness and it affected you deaply. Now your unhappiness affect your children. Cases like this happen even among Hungarians. I had a fiend like this. America just was not for him. He moved back to the "old country" with his family. I would say it without any sarcasm Serbia would most likely be better for you.

Incidents like this one are very common place in the US (land of the free), I sincerely hope that Serbia is not on the same road to "democracy". Just recently, a 70 year old woman from Utah was beaten & arrested for "not keeping up her lawn". Let us hope that the Serbian police will conduct themselves as servants & protectors instead of ruthless enforcers, like we have here in America.

Max,

Yes there must be a lot of frustration among the Serbian police. As you said " guess Serb policeman have no one to abuse now but their own". They seemed to be trained to abuse. I am glad for you and for the Kosovars: you are now out of their reach!! Long live the new Kosovo!
