So Rucker will have to get on with his job of implementing 1244 fully - if he is suggesting he is unable to do what he was employed to do then he needs to admit this in the UN SC so that either he is given support to do what he is meant to do or find someone who can! He was not employed to dismember & partition the UN soverign state but to uphold and affirm it's sovereignity so he should get on with it and enusre the return of ALL refugees and make it happen not be negative and suggest that he can not ensure peace when he has been employed and has the resources to do just that!

Of course ceku won't declare inependence because KiM is Serbian land.

So much for those planned celebrations of independence.

Kosovo "Serbian" land but please tell me what are the external signs of Serbian sovereignty there? If I go to Normandy, France or Burgenland, Austria I see there signs of French or Austrian sovereignty but in Kosovo? All those Serbian signs are gone with the wind for ever.

You will never truly understand the Kosova problem. You get so tied up in statements from this person or that person that you completely miss the big picture.

The fact is that Kosova will be independent whether you like it or not, and some statements from ex-KGB members are not going to intimidate the US or the other RESONABLE and CIVILISED countries of the west.

Consider your options:

1. With Kosova = NO NATO, NO EU, NO INTEGRATION, RUSSIAN PUPPET. The Kosova Albanians will never leave you alone and you wont be able to join these institutions with a great ammount of ethnic hatred and trouble.

2. Without Kosova = EU MEMBERSHIP, NATO MEMBERSHIP, ECONOMIC GROWTH AND PROSPERITY.

Serbia should hurry and get as much as they can in rights and local government for the Serbian municipalities in Kosova.

After the recent statements from the western UNSC countries it is quite clear now that after the 4 months of negociations Kosova will be independent one way or the other.

The signs that Kosovo is still Serbian is in every map in the world where ever you buy a map no matter where in the world it will indicate Kosovo as a province of Serbia. No other signs are necessary.

Here is my view regarding the article; the relevance of Lavrov’s stance regarding Kosova is null compared to Rucker’s. The reason – Lavrov represents only Rusia’s stance, while Rucker is the one nominated by UN to manage with the political life along with Kosovars to the final status. Just to remind you; UN is the highest international body, where all important issues are dealt with. Remember how Kostunica is “adhered” to every letter of the international law. Kosova is independent 8 years now, it only waits to be declared formally independent, and this shows once again irrelevance of the Russian stance over current circumstances.
As far as partition is concerned; UN sovereign entity called Serbia is disbanded long time ago- remember an army shelling villages, expelling their own citizens from the remaining un-ruined settlements towards neighboring countries, by the way mistreating them in most heartless manner etc….still I don’t think Mr. Rucker was unemployed that time, …..
However, There is a point in here I agree with you; All refugees must return, but please don’t count up among them over 50 000 military and paramilitary “refugees” . Just delete them.
