How intersting is ; Before the results of ahtisari's package were revealed i ahve not hear a single badmothing coming from serbs directed at Ahtisari. The minute everebody knew whats in it , the serbs were up in arms and calling Ahtisari all kinds of names. I bet you if that package said autonomy, serbs will be naming streets in belgarde after Ahtisari. this is the human nature I gues, I don't blame you guys.

Walter it would be much cheaper if that referendum whas held in Kosovo/a. It would also be more logical since they are the ones who are directly affected.
AhmedinAjad, Castro, Caves, or Kim Jong Il or even Putin would be practically impartial and I think most Serbs would prefer say a Castro Package or Kim Jong Il package over an Ahtisari package.

I am puzzled what Ahtisaari is thinking. Is he really unaware that the best contribution that he can make to the negotiations is to resign in favour of a mediator who is trusted by both sides?

You can't bring out an advice that is flatly rejected by one side and then continue to pretend that you are credible as a negotiator.

Oh common Kate how can you say that you like Boutros, didn’t you know that he is a Coptic Christian. Shame on you for being bias just a joke Kate!!~! How can you bring such an example forward when you know that the Albanians on this forum are the GATEKEEPERS of the truth. Boutros was replaced by Koffi. Mike: after a comment like that from DR. GANI, I want to know where he practices so that I don’t make a mistake and go to him/her. Nick when you learn that communism never existed as a state government comes back and comment as for Joe how about if we put it to a vote of all the citizens in Europe a referendum that would cost less than what they spend on Kosovo now or how about just letting the people in the Balkans vote since you are a strom proponent of DEMOCRACY.

after all, it´s the Albanians who would accept even a north-korean communist as a negotiator, if he delivered them what they are so desperately dreaming of...
come on guys, at least be honest...

I think it will stay a dream. let´s see what future brings!

I am sure "Jovan & Co" would be happy with anyone objective, politically intelligent and ESPECIALLY impartial! But in this current climate seems unlikely.
Personally I always liked and respected Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

Reading the top 5 comments, I'm at a wonder to know if anybody has anything intelligent to write, or has the B92 comment section now been reduced to cyber-graffiti.

Jovan & Co would prefer an "objective" Bellorussian, preferably a brotherly Russian but would also settle for an "inpartial" Greek.

albano... BKM was installed by those who pay the greatest bill to the UN...

some day you will learn that...or perhaps you won´t. =)

Ahtissari "conducted" the "negotiations"?

god, how sad is this!? =)
