This policy allows killing of hundreds of thousands of civilians, destroying country's infrastructure and economy, poluting their culture and morals.

They have swamped the media with it so that question it makes you sound crazy. The western forces have killed more civilians than the "terrorist" insurgents" in Iraq and taliban in Afghanistan.

Western foreign policy is based on interests only. There are no other barriers.

As Madeline Albright said about thousands of children dying in Iraq because of sanctions "I think this is a very hard choice, but the price -- we think the price is worth it."
