Bob Petrovich,

ethnic minorities /even Kosovo is specific case/ gain the right for self-determination after somebody denies its right for life and freedom...

I bet you would like to say:
'Perhaps it is the high time that someone explain to those poor lost souls that Albanians have no right of self determination.
This right belongs to the humans and Kosovo Albanians are not humans. They are Albanians.'

Bob, you could not love Albanians, but you should show at least minimum of respect... It is basic for interethnic, inter-religious and international relations...
K-Albanians want their independence because of the people like you, people who can not treat the others equally...
Good luck Kosovo on your own way...

After I finished work I watched the RTK(Radio Televizioni i Kosoves)News.
We had few car bomb scare in London and one which exploded in Glasgow, which I found out when I arrived at home at 1:00 AM.
While I was watching the 19:30 news from Kosova/o I liked one question from the "Vetevendosje" protest. The gentleman asked:"Why only Kosova/o which had the same rights like other parts of Yougoslavia is waiting the answer from UN,while all other parts of Yougoslavia had referendums to decide about their future"?!!!
So he was asking for a referendum in Kosova/o to decide about their future.
Now all of you will start to tell me that "Kosovo is Srbija"etc, please spare me all that,I heard that million times!!!
I like few commentators here like Nick,Jeton,James,Hermon and I have to give a credit to Victor on Albanian side, then I like Matthew,Mike,Djuro,Svetlana and few others on the pro Serbian side.
I don't mind J.Ham or Abdul Aziz but sometimes when especially you live abroad you get more emotional then you should be,so apologise if I have upset someone.
The problem is I bet that no-one really really understands what Kosovan People wants?!
As a born Kosovan Albanian my aim was that one day people of Kosova/o no matter of nationality will be able to run the show.I think that Kosovan people deserve that.
My intentions are that we never join Albania. We already have an open border with "mother" Albania.
What I don't like in here is that a lot of anti albanian commentators are saying that a lot of Kosovan population are from Albania!!!
Then this "big problem" about where Albanians come from,I don't know why now raising this matter when future of Kosova/o is about to happen.
Another thing I would like to raise is the name of Kosova/o.
In albanian we call Kosovo-Kosova so we are not changing nothing, like yourself call Serbia-Srbija so don't get offended when you see Kosova rather then Kosovo.
We can't call our country Kosovo because is in serbian,so we call it Kosova.
We are not making up the new names but we are calling our country in albanian.I know that you are going to say that kosovo means something in serbian,so what,we will call Kosova and you can call it "Kosova i Metohija",no harm done in here.
I just find it very hard that Kosovan People will live together. They lived together since 1913,but now is different.I was watching the Serbian commentator in Prishtina freely asking questions to "Vetevendosje" protestans
and no-one caused him any trouble,so I would like to invite all Kosovan Serbs to participate and show to the rest of Kosova/o that you want to live there and for me YOU ARE WELCOME.Together with the rest of Kosovan people you deserve a right to live in Kosova/o because you were there always together with Kosovan people. If I am YOU,I would choose, will I live in country I was born or listen to Belgrade, the end of the day it matters more what you think that what Belgrade think.Ziveli or Gezuar.Peace and Love.
And I really mean it!!!

Self determination? That is an oxymoron, like jumbo-shrimp, or military-intelligence. It means that, it sounds correct, but it is false. It's an OXYMORON.

Self-Determination Party is right. Kosovo leadership ought to try to obtain from UN a permission for referendum. Let's see then if true democratic countries or Anti-Democratic countries such as Serbia and Russia can go against the will of people.

Kosovo has been separate state since 1999. Now it's time to become officially recognized by the U.S. and other NATO countries. Serbian people must understand that Kosovo will never be part of Serbia again. Consequently, Republika Srpska will also never be part of Serbia. So why are you still living in denial?

No Independence
No Illegal declarations
No Illegal recognition
No Violence - that's what NATO are there to stop!

There will be however, be a new realisation by ALL Serbian citizens in it's southern province that only through real negotiations and dialogue can a lasting and peaceful solution be found for all.

I would suggest that the 800 000 Albanians chased from their homes in 1999 and 2000 participate in the demonstration for the independence of Kosovo. All Albanians should be resolved and united in this quest for independence.

Perhaps it is the high time that someone explain to those poor lost souls that ethnic minorities have no right of self determination.

This right belongs to the peoples and Kosovo Albanians are not the people. They are ethnic minority.

Several hundred protesters, Hmmm. More hype than substance, I'd say. Kind of like the Vidovdan celebration, more people chirp about it, than actually show up.

artistic performances? seems like they have too much time for nonsense. how about working to earn the own living instead of being financed by UNMIK and the blackmarket?
