Putin is dead on! The US has one of the most oppressive systems on Earth. We are only a "Democracy" on paper. The truth is more of a corporate dictatorship. Yesterday for the first time in decades the "will of the people" finally did prevail when the Senate killed the amnesty bill for illegal aliens, and to that I say "about time". Even if we did not have 7 million people (most on minor offences) in the jail system, or murder our own citizens (Police kill more people in the US every year then are killed in a small war) plus public executions, no freedom of speech, press or religion, we still would have no right to impose our version (right or wrong) of democracy on anyone else.
