It is over.

The question now is do the Albanins want to continue life as a nomad people, neither Albanian national nor Serbian national or do they accept broad autonomy and take the first step to making a better life if not for themselves then their children.

A decision should be made soon, one way or the other, so that the region can put this issue aside and hopefully move forward and work on other important issues such as improving the living standards of everyone in the region.

The leaders in the countries, including Canada that supported the breakup of Yugoslavia and now support this imitative on Kosovo are hypocritical since they would never support the breakup of their own country. Persons who post here who live in Canada and USA would never support the separation of Quebec from the rest of Canada or separation of some American state while at the same time they support separation of Kosovo from Serbia. Supporting unity and seeking protection of international law for your own country while at the same time encouraging separation and disregard for international law on the Kosovo initiative is hypocrisy of the highest order.

Nothing is over until the people of Kosova say its over.

The party that wants independence now and without delay are the people of Kosova. Our leaders are trying to calm the people down and not the other way around.

Perhaps this is the reason why Kosovo Albanian extremists destroyed over 90% of medieval Christian monasteries, in blind hope that if they destroy material evidence of Serbia's ownership, they will get the land for free. It does not work that way.

The entire Kosovo and good part of Albania are dotted with Serbian toponyms and hydronyms. If someone in North America claimed that Ango-Saxons were the first to came to North America and the First Nations came afterwards, he would face impossible task to explain how come the most of the oldest toponyms and hydronyms are of First Nation's origin. That is what you try to do.

With such rhetorics, Kosovo Albanians extremists rob Kosovo Albanian children of their future. The myths og being Illyrian descendants, the myth of being owner of Kosovo land can fuel hatred but can not change the facts that it is not so.

When US became independent, it was with French help as well.

From my viewpoint, the bombing of Serbia was too little too late. You deserved it, it ought to have happened in 1994. Ironically, had you been bombed earlier, you might have kept Kosovo; but that's OK, we Albanians would have been spared a few thousand dead and raped, I think.

I've said it before in this board, and I will say it again: Serbian institutions have no place in Kosovo. That is the basis for any lasting peace. Think about that.

Kosovo Albanians are Ethnic minority whose extremists were trained by NATO and Bin Laden
to start rebellion against the State they were living in.
Their first victims were Albanians who were loyal citizens.More than 1000 of them.

After the foreign intervention, Extremist Albanians murdered another 1000 Albanians who were loyal citizens of Serbia and expelled thousands. There are many Albanians who can not return to Kosovo because they will be killed by goons controlled by Thaqi.

Maybe the Portuguese would do better first to have some talks in Pristina and Belgrade before they start calling for unity. Unity os not the goal: it is just a means to achieve the best solution.
