"All I have reported is bases on international investigations for the ICTY (Victor, Wednesday, 27 June, 2007, 13:05)"
Victor at times you have claimed up to 250,000 Bosniaks killed and 100,000 raped without citing your sources, something that was NEVER claimed in any official ICTY report.
Tokaca's report is not new information, its only an update of his earlier report which you claimed earlier to base your numbers on. It was determined YEARS ago that the number of 200,000 was not correct.
Many times we have provided links to correct your misinformation, yet you completely ignored it. Even with the current Tokaca report you claimed the number would go as high as 150,000 something Tokaca himself said was unreasonable. He says it couldn't possibly go higher then 10,000 more.
You accuse us of denying crimes were committed when we correct you using the ICTY as a source.
To remind you Victor what the ICTY has determined.
102,000 killed in Bosnia
30% of the civilians and 30% of the military loses were Serbians. Exactly matching the population distribution.
Personally, I'd like to know where you got the number of 100,000 raped Victor? I know for a fact it wasn't the ICTY. I believe the current estimate is a couple thousand, which is horrible enough as it is, but claiming 100,000 is extremely insulting to us.
"Now, the estimated number of 200 000 dead is reviewed and new studies present different figures; and I will stand by them"
You know Victor I certainly hope so. Just to make sure you will live up to your promise. Why don't you tell us what the ICTY reports say about Bosnia? Keep in mind, I'm not talking about Tokaca's report, which comes from the RDC, I'm talking about the ICTY, who has the final say in the matter. Go ahead Victor, tell us, and cite your sources.
You claim you didn't get your number of 250,000 killed from CNN, so where did you find that number?

«...generally you don't speak the truth but merely repeat earlier incorrect propaganda .»

This is incorrect and false, matthew, and you know it! I have repeated hundreds times that Lukic herded 100s of helpless women and children in Visegrad, and burned them alive. Is this incorrect propaganda?

I have written about Mount Vlasic where Darko Mrdja has gunned down 200 Bosnian Muslims. Is this incorrect propaganda?

I have talk about Vukovar where the Serbs removed from the hospital all 260 patients, soldiers or not, kill them at the Ovcara farm and buried them in mass graves? Is this incorrect propaganda?

All I have reported is bases on international investigations for the ICTY and I try not to get in the CNN propaganda as you mention.

Now, the estimated number of 200 000 dead is reviewed and new studies present different figures; and I will stand by them, but these new figures do not change the past and what the Serbs have accomplished.

Don't make such generalizations, please.

When do we hear something from the Prime Minister of Serbia regarding Serbia's responsibility for all what happened? Why always only presidential words.

Toronto 1

pre 16 godina

The legacy of the Medak Pocket is perhaps in the Presidency of Agim Ceku in Kosovo. After all, he engaged in battle with both Serbs and Canadian peacekeepers there and was wounded.

A Canadian journalist, Carol Off (who has also written other books accusing Milosevic and Serbs of genocide in Bosnia) wrote a book in which his involvement was clearly explained. Obviously, as she is by no means pro-Serbian in orientation one can clearly see his appointment in Kosovo as a reward for deeds done in Croatia by the United States.

If the Kosovo Albanians are such innocent victims could they not have selected a leader whose hatred of Serbs did not take him to another country in which he committed crimes and engaged peacekeepers in armed battle?

Victor, you finally said something fair and balanced, don't ruin that with negative comments. I do applaud you for the effort though. BTW Victor, generally you don't speak the truth but merely repeat earlier incorrect propaganda used against Serbs in the past, that is why we find it so offensive. We Serbs have plenty to be ashamed of, stick to the facts, and we'll all get along just fine.

I believe Tadic was only referring to Croatia in his latest statements. He already attended the Srebrenica memorial in 2005.

Clearly Serbia is light years ahead of other countries in the region in accepting their role in the violence and bloodshed.

Now Tadic needs to go to Kosovo and apologize AND stand firm on his opinion in regards to independence. He clearly can speak now from a position of moral authority.

BRAVO TADIC!!!!! SERBIA NEEDS YOU MORE THEN EVER.

Roger,

What I have written is based on reports that have changed with the years. The modification of figures do not change the facts: Srebrenica happened, Vukovar happened, the massacres of 100s of Muslims like on Mount Vlasic happened; the burning od 131 women and children in Visegrad happened; the campaign of rape happened; concentration camps as Omarska, Keraterm, Brcko, Trnopolje and so many others have existed, and 1000s of Muslims lost their lives. It is for all this and much more that President apologized.

If the Serbs in the RS and Serbia will recognize the facts, all the facts, and apologize themselves, instead of pointing at others, hatred would stop, and reconciliation would come.

If the TRUTH hurts you, and you cannot tolerate to read what the Serbs have done ion your name, there is very little I can do.

John2, can't you just say what you think about a certain news or issue without telling others how to think and what news to read? People express their opinions and they are judged against ohters' by other readers. If you want to make this a forum of like-minded anti-Serb apologists, you should say so. If you cannot disprove others' arguments, maybe it's not just down to your inability to do so, maybe they are simply right.

Victor,
I have been coming to this site for several years and wrote my first comment just last week because I could no longer stand still and read your vitriolic comments against the Serbs. I have no idea if you are sincere with your comments today because, unlike you, I cannot read someone’s heart. You sit in Canada and judge an entire race from afar with inaccurate or incomplete information. The latest death figure for Serbs in Bosnia was 24,906. Rounding it off it would be accurate to say 25,000 but let us not give the Serbs any credibility. Not only should the Croatian PM apologize but also so should you, to all of us who have had to tolerate your constant rantings and lack of objectivity. Hopefully, you can now keep your arrogance in check and encourage reconciliation and not hatred.

"Thank Gos that our Canadian soldiers were there to stop the killers."

Actually, they couldn't and didn't stop the killing and the entire Medak Pocket was raised to the ground. (UN report says that Dutch mercenaries were big in the destruction of homes and buildings.)

The Croats were using prisoner Serbs to carry loot for them, but when Canadian soldiers got too close the Croats would kill a Serb as a warning to back off.

No, the Canadians did not save any Serbian lives or property. They were however, front seat WITNESSES to how the Croats behaved during the war, and they did kill several Croats who were firing on them.

Unlike the Canadians in this incident, UN usual procedure was to leave when the Croats were ready to attack and the Serb villages would be destroyed as this one, but no one would witness or report it 'cept Serb survivors, and no one but Serbs believe them due to the media demonization and bias.

That's why Medak Pocket was important - you had non-Serb witnesses from a NATO country, and they have some photos.

I agree but the Croat PM should do the same. According the last figures, I see now that Serb civilians have also suffered and killed (over 24 000), and what the Croats did in the Medak Pocket was a war crime. Thank Gos that our Canadian soldiers were there to stop the killers.
