Vojislav Koštunica with his chorus have sold entire Serbian economy to the Russia just for use of veto. Russian governemnt/politics/economy is among the most corrupted ones in the world, I fail to see prosperous Serbia anytime soon let alone Serbia owned by Russia joining the EU!
Kosova will get independence with or without Russias veto, but economy of serbia will be sold forever.

Luciano, I think that Russia will rather invest in Serbia if Serbia is not in the EU. It wants to enter the region, to have influence there. If Serbia is in the EU then it won't be able to do this.

Russia has lots of money to invest in Serbia. They have more money for this than the West does. They are also culturally closer with us, and so hence they are the best choice for a partner, for us.

Russia has hundreds of billions of petrodollars to invest and I do not understand why the Serbs are so slow to encourage some of those billions into Serbia.Russia does more trade with every single individual EU country than it does with Serbia so does Serbia need to be an actual member of the EU before the Russians will feel secure investing in Serbia?Serbs should get to work and go get those petrodollars good as gold.
