I agree with the above article and this should be seen as a sign of positive outcome that results from co-operation. Five or ten years can be shorten to two years if there is a real commitment to make progress towards EU.

The international community (and the world Bank in particular) should invest much more in the development of greenfield projects in the Balkan (in Serbia in particular) instead of donating huge amounts of money to organize different workshops, conferences, seminars and various round tables that mean absolutely nothing.

I totally disagree. It's a good opportunity for investors if Serbia... do NOT enter the EU.

5 to 10 years is too long.As an economist I assure you all that there will be NO overall negative economic consequences if all 7 CEFTA countries enter the EU THIS YEAR.
