Serbia vs Netherlands in Euro U-21 final

I was surprised of the late substitution of Mrdja and Basta. The Belgians seem to gain life in the second half and placed Serbia under pressure. After the substitution Mrdja and Basta the Serbian side gained control of the game. Why did Djukic sit these two players as long as he did when Basta for example is a starter on the National team?

I am very happy with the result. Missed the majority of the first half because of the penalty shoot-out drama between Holland and England (and congratulations to the Dutch for coming back at the end and turning it around), but saw the end of the first half and all of the second half and I was generally happy with the match. This is good for the future prospects of the senior Serbian national team as, hopefully, some of these talents come through to the senior side in the next couple of years.

Next, Holland in the Final! Probably will be 99% orange in the crowd for the final, but I hope some Serbs will have obtained tickets for the match and represent the country properly, and that the only abuse players get will be for reasons of lack of skill and no other reason. Because I missed the action of the first half, I cannot confirm something someone told me, that the majority of the crowd for this Belgium-Serbia match was booing the 'Boze Pravde' national anthem before the match started, with the majority of crowd being made up of Belgians and Dutch, seeing as the matches are played in Holland.

One more thing: SRBIJJJJJJJAAAAAA! Woooo-hoooooo! Bring on the Dutch and lets see some good football on Saturday evening! Fantastic to be one of the best 2 young teams in Europe!

The Serbs are really contributing a lot to European sport and culture and should be congratulated for their high accomplishments.
