Human trafficking in Serbia

According to this report it's mainly women from Slavic and usually Christian Orthodox countries that are being targeted. This cannot but escape my attention to the origin of the English word 'slaves'. This is what it says in Wikipedia about it: "The word slave in the English language originates from the Middle English sclave, which comes from the Old French esclave, which in turn comes from the Medieval Latin sclavus, which originates from the early Greek sklabos, from sklabenoi Slavs, of Slavic origin; akin to Old Russian Slovene, an East Slavic tribe.[1][2] The term sclavus originally referred to the Slavs of Eastern and Central Europe, as many of these people had been captured and then sold slaves." The English speaking nations are using a racial term for 'slaves' that originates directly from the word Slavs. This is so revealing about their racial attitudes to all Slavs as it basically gives a code to current and future generations to think about all Slavs in those racial insulting terms that encourage degrading treatment. I want to see this word 'slaves' banned from the English language.

20 years of hard labor should be the minimum for any individual convicted of holding another human being against her/his will.Serbia should be the first Balkan country to put an end to this DISGUSTING practice.

What a surprise that the US chooses NOW to class Serbia as a trafficking hub. It's well known ploy so that the US has an excuse to do whatever it wants - reminds me of when they were saying that at least 100,000 albanians had been killed and buried in Kosovo - disinformation, that's all it is.
