Svetlana is an Albanian who is masquerading as a Serb, in fact there are Albanians who are calling themselves American, Canadien and English too. Be yourself! What is funny is these people accuse me of being a Serb pretending to be a Canadien. And this because I don't support their point of view.

Serbs this is a common tactic make up false news or greatly spin news to serve anti-Serb lobby and then let it fall by the way side when it is proven fruitless.Remember 1999.Do not expectunbias news when it comes to us Serbs or when it has to do with the New World Order.

There are still more deaths attributed to guns in the U.S. than were deaths in Serbia/Kosovo from the phantom genocide.

"In [the US] in 1999 there were 1776 gun deaths in the 0 through 17 age group and 3385 gun deaths in the 0 through 19 age group. By subtraction we find that there were a whopping 1609 gun deaths in just the 18 through 19 age group."

Somebody bomb those Americans!!! They are being genocidal!

If we used U.S. gun death figures as baseline for genocide as a threshold for the humanitarian intervention of NATO on the behalf of the Albanians then that would be reasonable. Instead the threshold of deaths in Serbia/Kosovo never achieved U.S. domestic gun deaths until NATO started bombing. NATO bombed on false pretenses.

The media reporting on this story was at a frenzy when it was reported that a possible mass grave was found and fell silent as no evidence was found. That didn't stop javno.hr from publishing a picture of a mass grave before the article.

"According to a statistical and analytical study of CNN's reports on Kosovo, among all the CNN stories on the Kosovo crisis, 68.3 per cent were one-sided with the sources of information tightly in the hands of the US officials, while 50 per cent of the reports were based on sources from the US Government, 26.5 per cent from NATO and the Kosovo Liberation Army, and 14.7 per cent from Albanian refugees in Kosovo."

«...if you as a Serb are pro E.U. or you want Mladic and other war crimes suspects to be arrested you're not a real Serb. »

And if, as an ordinary man, like myself, brings facts about Serb crimes and atrocities, most of the Serbs on this form accused me of being a racist, and antisemite, etc. I have decided to remind all Serbs that the soul of their nation has been desacrated and tarnished because of waar criminals, not because of a good man like you Richard. I see that you are differend from Ida, Ratko, Matthewm who live if revisionism, and refuse to admit that 1000s and 1000s of Muslims have been killed in the beginning of the war in 1992. Mr Tokaca is also clear about this assertion. Read his report.

I have also denounced with vehemence Croat and Muslims war criminals, and I know how crual and inhuman Croat soldiers have been in the Medak Pocket. Women were raped and men killed, but this is not comparable with what happened on Mount Vlasic where Darko Mrdja gunned down more than 200 Muslims; or with the burning of more than 500 women and children in Visegrad.

These are facts and guys like Walter, Ratko, Milan, Matthew, does not admit this. They turn around the bushes and try to explain what is in fact unexplainable! What happened during WW2 is not a good reason to commit the same atrocities. Noy in my book! This is too easy!

You know, the more I read Richard Z’s comments the more I agree with him.

Svetlana’s comments were very similar to many opinions I heard from ultra liberals in Belgrade, so I can easily believe she is a Serb. My only problem with her presentation was she does seem to view it as a Black & White issue and seems to greatly misunderstand the West’s motivations (The didn’t oppose Serbia for humanitarian reasons, that’s just plain silly). The West are not Serbia’s friends. I grew up in the US, and what makes this country great is the ability for people like me to strongly disagree with our government’s positions on whatever we feel like. However, Svetlana seems completely full of hate, and that I can not agree with, nor the tone in which she stated her opinions. However, the basic point she made I agree with. We Serbs do need to take responsibility for the crimes committed in our names. Just because I apologize for those crimes does not mean crimes were not committed against Serbs. They clearly were, as my wife was a victim of Operation Storm in Krajina.

All I know is I would love to hear an apology from a Croatian for that crime. So I understand very well that the victims of Serbian aggression would also desire the same.

Personally, I take the high moral ground. I apologize for Serbian crimes so that I can justify condemning crimes against Serbs. I believe to do otherwise would be hypocritical. Its NOT black & white, crimes were committed on all sides.

"But that isn't to say that nothing happened. The point of apologizing is not about this one mass grave that wasn't a mass grave, but about what happened in general."

This is not the only false report, but with headlines claim a large number killed which weren't. So many other times there's been reports which didn't pan out, but the updates and truth has never been reported.

People are left with the impression that the Balkans wars killed 10 times what they did.

In Kosovo, the violence was INITIATED by the KLA backed by the west.

The KLA was purposely provoking the police and setting off bombs and mines to get a reaction. Any reaction would be used to justify western intervention.

The Serbs were baited and baited.

The Serbs had every right to remove a violent armed separatist group, and its supporters from its country.

However, the key NATO countries had an agenda to take the land, control it and build the huge Bondsteel base.

People were long contracted for that base before the NATO war.

Any deaths of Albanians would be used to excuse intervention.

NATO even assessed that there would be 10s of thousands of Albanians killed if they launced airstrikes.

So NATO predicted the Serbs would get angry and retaliate, kill many, but those deaths - AFTER THE BOMBING - would be used to justify the bombing.

However, the number of dead is way, way lower than they predicted, which is why they have to make up and invent more people killed. And leave the impression, by hyped headlines like these, that it was worse and more one-sided than the truth.

Many missing have been found alive. Often people and families do not contact the red cross to have themselves removed if they are found.

It is of interest to people wanting to inflate their victim status to keep quiet when people are found alive which were claimed to be victims or to be quiet if their relatives died through accident or other circumstances that didn't fit the propaganda.

I can't see how anyone can enjoy this, by not finding any bodies there we now still have over 2500 Kosovars (Albanians as Serbs) missing from the war.

Had we found 500 bodies there, hundred of families would know what's happened to their relatives.

There's still thousands missing so I don't know why anyone would go out claiming everything is a lie. The bodies lie somewhere, the sooner we find them the better. No matter ethnicity of the bodies. Don't be so imature when you comment, please!

Richard Z

Why wouldn't Svetlana be a Serb. Just she apologized for the crimes that were commited in our name? I really don't like that kind of division between Serbs, it reminds me to much of the Radical party. If you speak out against what happened during the war, or if you as a Serb are pro E.U. or you want Mladic and other war crimes suspects to be arrested you're not a real Serb.
I am Serb but I don't think the right thing to do is constanly blame others and not look at ourselves. We have to do what we have to do to move on.

No there weren't any bodies found, and I don't think that after 60 years we sudenly find hundreds of mass graves like Victor put it. But that isn't to say that nothing happened. The point of apologizing is not about this one mass grave that wasn't a mass grave, but about what happened in general.

On the other side yes, Albanians and some others here are quik to point out how bad Serbs were everytime something like this gets posted. You don't hear them when an investigation turns out fruitless. Or about what Albanians did against Serbs. They need to look at themselvers also.

I hope people reading this are not naive enough to think that this is the first time it has happened.
The geoncidal picture painted by Clinton in 1999 was riddled with such lie all in the cause of justification for a illeagal bombing campaign.
I wonder how many years it will take people to relise that in 1999 it was Serbs that were being killed and not Albanians, (untill Vj arrived obviously).

Victor

There was no mass grave this time, but as I have written last week, in 60 years from now, the next generation of Serbs will find mass graves because there are many that have not been found yet. A good example for this is the mass grave found in Hungary with 2 300 corpses from WW2.

Serbia's name has been desacrated by a 'joint criminal enterprise' of a few Serbs who thought that their crimes will never be found. What a blunder!

Zoran

The authorities should not have released any information about the dig until bodies were found or not found. This has been just more PR spin, speculations and lies to justify NATO'S and the Albanians aggression against Serbia!

Jack

You are right Olf. There are hundreds of people who were kidnapped and murdered by the KLA in the last 9 years, where are all these Albanian/Serb/Roma bodies? Maybe they should be looking for mass graves in the Albanian border region rather than the security zone? All these terrorist need to be rounded up and put on trial especially the ones running the temporary institutions and the TMK.

The title of this news item is more than a little misleading – “No proof of mass grave near Raška”

B92 could have said “No mass grave near Raska” or even “Mass grave hoax exposed.” But instead you chose your words carefully to suggest that while proof may be lacking a mass grave may still be found.

This is how the Western oligarchs who own and control all mass-media outlets get their message across. Facts are not as important as the spin that can be put on them.

Serbs this is a common tactic make up false news or greatly spin news to serve anti-Serb lobby and then let it fall by the way side when it is proven fruitless.Remember 1999.Do not expectunbias news when it comes to us Serbs or when it has to do with the New World Order.

Svetlana is an Albanian who is masquerading as a Serb, in fact there are Albanians who are calling themselves American, Canadien and English too. Be yourself! What is funny is these people accuse me of being a Serb pretending to be a Canadien. And this because I don't support their point of view.
