Philip Davies,

If you want to compare countries, just compare the economies, and you'll see that Serbia is no place for any well-minded citizen of Serbia.

Milan Babic was a descent guy because he realized the folly of his ways and promoted reconciliation in the end. You, and the organizations you work for and support, obviously have no interest in peace between the Serbian citizens of Croatia and Croats. And that is too bad.

Idamark - you are confusing Milan Martić with Milan Babić. And Babić did accept the Z-4 plan http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Z-4_plan

Also the Radical party got 28.59% and not 43% in the recent election in Serbia.

For the Krajina Serbs, Croatia is the country of "broken promises and false hopes" and not Serbia.

The new speaker of the Serbian national assembly Oliver Dulić, is of partial Croat origin.

What about that fact that 30% of Croatia's current territory I.e RSK was de facto cleansed by Croats and they Celebrate the cleansing every year?
Croatia will no doubt enter the EU still celebrating the day they anihalated a Serb republic and killed or destroyed anything in their wake.
And they say Serbs support genocide HA!

ida/mark,

however you try to revise history, reality will always prevail. Martic did an injustice to his people when he 1) refused to take Croatia's deal to end the war that would have given serbs special status 2)ordered his army out of Croatia and ethnically cleansed 150,000 of his own people by ordering them out too 3) Launched rockets against civilian targets in Croatia. I feel bad for the good serbs of Croatia, because they believed in Martic's and the radicals of Serbia's fantasy. However, people make mistakes. And the majority cannot be penalized for the crimes of a few. Those that committed no crimes are entitled to come home, because Croatia is their home. Serbia is the home of broken promises and false hopes. Many of those that orchestrated the darkest of crimes came from Serbia. And, unfortunately, with 43% of the Serb population still voting for the Nationalist-Socialists of the Radical Party, Serbia is not the place to be for any decent citizen of Croatia.

Martic wasnt a politician but a policeman but was asked by karadzic and milosevic to be president, i.e he was a pawn and no victor he was not in bosnia where cities were under seige and so had no snipers. War is war and he was in bosnia to form the posavina corridor at brcko before heading back to the RSK. Martic, should be acquitted, if someone kept hitting you in the face, your going to hit back, the croatians attacked western slavonia so he retaliated at Zagreb, there was far more innocent victims in western slavonia than zagreb. As for victors statement, 1600 children killed by snipers is desparate talk and shows he is clearly worried for kosovo and he did very badly at school if he has left school that is.

That's not true, during the whole of the Croatian war, and this is about Croatia, the Croats give a statistic of 360 children killed. They don't say whether this counts Serb children or not.

I know Serb children were killed because there are photos and named UN individuals who witnessed this.

Seems Viktor is thinking about Sarajevo but ignoring that Muslim snipers were caught redhanded by the French Marine unit sniping at civilians in Sarajevo and the UN. The Muslim snipers had many buildings they used, including in the infamous Sniper's Alley.
