In the event Kosovo doesn't become a sovereign nation I hope it doesn't happen again where the ethnic Albanians experience oppression nor do I hope it means that they will be treated as second-class citizens ( for instance being denied language rights, denied equal pay, denied police protection etc)In fact if I'm not mistaken Macedonian-Albanians have achieved some rights in Macedonia. It's important to realize that I'm not saying nor indicating that all non-Albanians be treated poorly and finally I commend nations that granted refugee status to ethnic Albanians who had to flee war torn Kosovo, I also commend those who ensured they receive the best in hospitality ( an example would be some U.S.army official in Fort Dix,New Jersey who ensured or would ensure the Albanians would receive the best in American hospitality) and finally these nations should be further commended in defying people who may feel these Albanians should be denied refugee status etc.Certainly I'm not listening nor agreeing to people who may want me to treat all Albanians in a discriminatory manner.

Offcourse everyone wants to see that Macedonia, who also has problem with Albanian Kosovars (2 million of refugees that ran not from serbs but Nato bombs) situated in their country, backing up the independence of Kosovo. This is impossible to expect, since it threatens their borders as well. But the heading decieves general american public, in the same way american media does, too.

It is clear that Macdedona back the Independence of Kosovo/a.

The mere fact that he is visiting Prishtina and not Belgrade to discuss bilateral relations with the break-away region sends the clear signal that Macedonia wishes to see an independet Kosovo/a. It wants to deal with an independet Kosovo/a because it believes it can gain economically from this. Which I believe they will!

don´t worry Victor K, it is quite obvious that B92 does a lot to calm down the Albanians.

but I think even without reading those "reports", they slowly begin to get it, that the USA duped them...

just look to the last statement of Mr.Fried. He denied any unilateral recognition by the US and at the same time sent a strong warning towards the Albanians, "unilateral steps would be dangerous", ...we all can only hope the Albanians are smart enough to get the message.

but even that is not sure with guys like ceku on duty...
