You mean like putting the checkered symbol of ustashi NDH n the Croation flag or the covert backing of the Vatican to provide "moral" support to Tudjman in ethnically cleansing non-Catholics from Tito's-drawn Croatian boarders??? Did the Croats living peacefully in Serbia for the past several centuries need to provide such pledges???

Bad Gorilla, I therefore assume you don't support a separatist Republic of Kosova either. I tend to agree with you about intergration. It is better to break down barriers than to build them. For example I believe that kosovo should be reintegrated into Serbia without any of this autonomous province nonsense. As more than twenty percent of the population of Serbia would be Albanian this would give them a large block of MPs in parliament who could use their voting power for the benefit of kosovo. This would be far better in the long term for everyone than to create another failed state.

I’m in favor of the return of all the refugees of the Croatian War, but I think that they should be re-integrated in Croatian society as fully-fledged Croatian citizens, without centering in things like folkish kinship or religion. Because things like the separatist “Republic of Serb Krajina” should never be allowed to happen again.
