Milos do some search and see how is the Boss of Head of Privatization and than come back and comment on it. But I think his name is Ahmet Shala

Jack you're correct but, money received from such privatisation are held in Trust Account for potential owners. Therefore, until such owners are known, such enteprises must prosper and move forward with new private owner. At the time when the potential owners are defined, they will receive the privatization proceeds

Selling off a few, probably defunked, companies is one thing but does anyone know if they have sold off the mineral rights(I already know about Trepca). Whether Kosovo becomes independent or not the mineral rights should not be sold off(probably at very low price) to some foreign interest. Also does anyone here remember 1244 giving UNMIK the right to sell off state assets. These should be decisions made either by Serbia or by a future Kosovo government if kosovo becomes independent.

The Kosovo Trust Agency (KLA) is selling NATO’s spoils of war? In the British commonwealth it is the equivalent of crown land being sold, which was originally taken away from the aboriginal inhabitants. So what we have here is western Europe reconfirming their imperialism and decision making of centuries ago.

So the UN is going to sell all the companies in Kosovo.
This is the so called indpendance albanians have been dying for is it?
Why should the country be sold to the west, are the people living there not capable of restoring them themselves?
