Police search for Mladić fruitless

Isn't clear that Mladic will never be captured by Serbs? Even if the police do get a hold of his location of course there will be at least one Serb who thinks he saved the Serbs of Bosnia from being attacked and warn Mladic to leave wherever he is. It's been clear now this has to be a total NATO operation. I can't imagine Serbs arresting Mladic. Why aren't Bosnian Serbs in charge of this anyway? Mladic is Bosnian Serb not Serbian Serb.

I think there are four structures that are helping to hide and to support Karadzic and Mladic:

01. The Serbian Military, controlled by non-democratic nationalist forces sympathetic to the Serbian Radical party (SRS);

02. The Serbian Interior Ministry, controlled by the same kind of people;

03. Republika Srpska Police (taht’s why they don’t want to be dissolved);

04. The political elites from Republika Srpsak.

While there’s no political force strong enough to face this four pillars of Serb radical nationalism, Mladic and Karadzic will not be arrested any time soon. So, ICTY-NATO should start to act in a more assertive way.
