Funny thing about all this, is that they found vintage world war II weapons i beleive. At first the Montenegrin government claimed that they were connected to al qaeda. Then the fact that they were all roman catholic made the media look stupid. One thing i noticed more than anything is that the countries surrounding Albania all seem to try and target the fact that the majority of the population is muslim. In this era of the "war on terror", it gives the media and government something to resort to when dealing with the Albanian population. It's cause we're all muslim right? This little scenario indicated that its not just muslim albanian who are targeted, because if your Albanian the muslim assumption is already there. The fact that the world knows we are entitled to the land gives them more to worry about. Makes them quicker to jump on something that makes no sense, like taking over the Montenegrin Parliament with vintage weapons? Obviously the schooling system isn't to great in Montenegro. Particularly in the Malesia region, possibly part of the reason my family migrated to the USA. Trust me, it worked. Justice, will be served, and the retarded Montenegrin government will most likely to had us justification for Autonomy of my precious mother land. We remained catholic after 500 years of occupation. Hoti and Gruda faught for Tuzi when the Montenegrin Monarchy tried to seize it from us. It has ben happening and will continue to happen, and what our people are due to receive will come in due time. Just as it did for the Isrealites that were under the rule and dominated by the surrounding regions. This will come.

"These men were caught planning to blow up the Montenegrin parliament"

There is no proof of this. It seems that some of you are the ones making false claims.

"I know that there are mild tensions between the Albanians and the State in Montenegro, as there are in all the other states with an Albanian minority"

You know this for a fact? Albanians of Montenegro have really good relations with the government until recent situations. Sadly the Albanian population of Montenegro has subdued to all the demands the Montenegrins have made, therefore, leading to Montenegro's old intimidation mindset.

"I as a Montenegren Serbian, would probably not get The Four Seasons treatment in an Albanian-Kosovo jail I bet."

There are Montenegrin-Serbs in Kosova jails. How often do you hear of beatings and lack of human rights? The West's eyes are on Kosova/The Balkans, which seems to be getting the most attention?

"Albanians agitated for independence of Montenegro, they got it. Now they're stirring troubles there like they do every where."

If you were to read more, you would understand that Milo Dukanovic fought for the support of the Albanians, and other minorities.

It wasnt an Albanian fight for independence, it was a Montenegrins push. Albanians, being loyal citizens, gave their votes for the betterment of a independent Montenegro.

"Now they're stirring troubles there like they do every where."

This comment may be the most thought-out remark made in this forum... Anyone can make broad/bogus accusations, but until you can prove these allegations, the protests in Washington D.C, New York, New York will continue until the demands of an autonomous region, Human Rights, and the release of the Albanian political prisoners are fulfilled.

Well if you have weapons and explosive stored then i wonder i don't think they were planning to celebrate the independence of monetnegero? Pardon yeah right the people will still do there shady deals and there will always be mistrust. Albanians stick together no matter what. They were caugth with there hands in the cookie jar and now pardon them. Well Tom seems like you have either experianced getting you flag skinned off your arm or been in a Balkan Jail. Human rights you should say want there own land to call there own. Human rights is always the limp excuse just say you want you own piece of montenegro to rule. Automony you mention yes ok i will believe that i have some beach front propert to sell you in Arizona. don't come to the forum trying to sell this crap. If you are vacacation spend it down by the beach. No one chased anyone out of montenegro to the US that was done by choice, they saw the opportunity to haul ass to the states they took it and probably will never come back except on vacation or to find wives they can rule over in the states.

Provided my comments relate to this topic, articles I've read on-line made me figure that Albanian-Christians are somewhat predominant,in fact I believe that there's a Albanian run private school in Canada(province of Alberta)called the Mother Theresa school if I'm not mistaken and judging by it's name I doubt it's a Muslim run school but more to the point if Albanian Christians were persecuted like their Muslim counterparts then they deserve justice as well and when I previously stated for my comments dated a few days ago about treating some Albanians with generosity an example would be providing them presents so therefore for religious purposes and provided I'm familiar with these Albanians who're Muslim I could provide Eid presents to them but if they're Christian then it's to be Christmas presents. Finally, I should have stated in my very first comments that I also don't generalize about Croats even Iraqis,Macedonians etc and I'm also a type of person who intends to do special things for some Bosnian people.Any complimentary comments are welcome but for criticism comments once again I don't have to change my personal beliefs to please such a person(s).

Tom, keep your hat on dude. What's with this conspiracy theory before the trial even begins? If these alledged terrorists are not guilty, they will walk.

As for being mistreated in prison, I as a Montenegren Serbian, would probably not get The Four Seasons treatment in an Albanian-Kosovo jail I bet.

I know that there are mild tensions between the Albanians and the State in Montenegro, as there are in all the other states with an Albanian minority. However, I was under the impression that the situation in Montenegro was fairly calm with a generally tolerant atmosphere.

What do you suggest as the answer? The UCTuzi? Or how about a radical idea from me, why don't the Albanian community in Montenegro make a real effort to break down barriers and fully integrate in that small and pretty country for the security and prosperity of all its citizens.

I don't know if you are aware of it but ethnically pure states are a real step back for the evolution of the human race.

I'm sure the Montenegran government and security forces are not perfect(who is), but this the chance for you to take the moral high ground by being the first to offer the olive branch. Tension and strife benefit no-one except the rabble rousers.

Albanians agitated for independence of Montenegro, they got it. Now they're stirring troubles there like they do every where. These men were caught planning to blow up the Montenegrin parliament -- a terrorist act. They should be treated like terrorists. How are Montenegrins discriminated in Montenegro? They aren't, that's just albanian propaganda like the one they told a visiting U.S. delegation that Montenegro is an apartheid regime (a ludicrous claim).

I understand what you are saying, although i disagree with you because, the Albanian political prisoners are being beaten on the basis of their ethnicity.

You wouldn't find a Montenegrin inmate being beaten daily, getting his national flag skinned off of his arm, being locked in a pitch black room for days at a time etc.

The most disturbing fact of all is that these Albanians havent commited any wrong-doing's against the new state of Montenegro. They are being persecuted to the full extent by a new, racist, and corrupt government.

The Albanian prisoners were arrested one day before september 11th, when terrorism was the topic-at-hand world wide. Coincidentally, these men were arrested one day before elections for the autonomy of the Malesia region. This was done to scare the Albanian public so that they would not vote on election day. Another thing you may want to take into account is that, of the eighteen so called "terrorists", all of them are Roman Catholic that serve to the vatican, three of them being United States citizens on vacation to see their families in Montenegro.

Each of the men were political party members supporting the autonomy of Tuzi, Malesia.

The lack of human rights of the Albanian people of Montenegro has caused a large migration of Malesore (Albanians of Montenegro) to the United States of America. This situation is one of the many tactics the Montenegrin-Serbs use to rid the Albanian lands of the indigeonous Albanian people.

They shouldn't feel ethnically abused for getting a beating in jail. Everyone gets a beating in jail regardless of race, religion or creed. Prison guards in the Balkans are equal opportunity beaters.
