There is a proper way to deal with Islamic terror it just sad that the West 'in its secular and progressive glory' has not come to grips with the threat we face.

You cannot negotiate, pan handle, or work with these people or groups.

I am surprised there are not Albanians commentators discussing this article unlike in previous once where they were able to voice their right for independence. Very peculiar.

Why is it that when an issue is regarding Serbs, their enthnicity is highly stressed, yet in this article the individuals are ambigously labeled as Yugoslavian. I wonder if these individuals even speak 'former Yugoslavian' national language?

With regards to Islamic radicals who plotted U.S. army attacks why it shocks me that it was some ethnic Albanians who allegedly intended to harm American troops in Fort Dix,N.J.is because it was the U.S. who eventually halted Serb attacks against Kosovar-Albanians and Fort Dix was said to have sheltered 4,000 ethnic Albanian refugees. So therefore I hope Albanians residing in or even visiting the U.S. won't experience a backlash nor experience what the Japanese residing in the U.S. experienced during World War 2. After all I'm not going to generalize about Albanians just like I don't generalize about Serbs,I'm not treating all Albanians second-class,I support the Hague for it's continued punishment of the alleged oppressors of Albanians and I also envision treating some Albanians with generosity. And finally if someone replies to my comments with criticism I'm not changing my comments to please that someone.

The reality is only a very very small percentage of the Muslims from the Balkans support these radical views.

However, as was the case with the 9/11 Hijacking, it only takes a handful of people to cause great damage.

I've been saying for years that there is a very real danger of these terrorist cells recruiting disillusioned youth from the Balkans to commit these types of acts. I was very struck by the fact that they Muslims of Sarajevo look so Western, many with blue eyes and blond hair. The US has by far been focusing too much on people with a Middle Eastern appearance. A very great number of Asians are also Muslim. This is why I have always condemned racial profiling as being unproductive and potentially harmful.

The fact is many of these kids suffered horribly in the past and need help getting over their issues. I am speaking as both a Serb and an American. I feel very badly for people who feel the need to commit these types of actions, its counter productive and hurts everyone involved.

Hopefully now the Albanians here can realistically look at what is happening in their society and deal with the issue before its too late. Denying that there is a danger from radical disillusioned members of the Albanian population is a recipe for disaster.

Yes, Serbs are in danger from these types of attacks, but no it does not mean the Albanian population as a whole approves of them. Now is the time for the Albanians here to step forward and condemn these types of actions in the strongest possible words.

We must be very very careful, the same people who want to keep Iraq destabilized would like the same for Europe. The situation is nearly perfect right now for them to completely destabilize the region entirely with very little effort. We must be wary of outside influences trying to radicalize the Muslim society of Europe. If two children accidentally drowning could result in the 2004 riots, imagine what some well coordinated attacks like 9/11 could do.

Let us be careful and patient, or the fire of radical Islam will sweep away the EU and destroy it.

If you feel that america is so unjust in their foreign policy..then why don't you and others who live in the "american" diaspora organize and form a SANE group to speak about your point of view. Instead of gloating, why don't you put your money where your mouth is and do something constructive for Serbia and America!!

Should the US reconsider its position on Kosovo independence, or its alliance with the Albanians? Should it reconsider its appeasement policy with Muslims who want to harm Americans? Yes, but that would mean admitting error in judgement & foreign policy, and we all know America can never make mistakes, right? So let's have our GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED MEDIA cover up the fact that 3 of them were Albanians most likely from the Serbian province of Kosovo. Albanians claim that they are SHOCKED by this but I doubt their sincerity. Americans have a right to know and understand that Albanians & other Muslims are not their allies and indeed wish only harm to them. Serbs have been and still can be reliable, trustworthy allies for the US in the Balkans if only Americans could see past the anti-Serb propaganda. The truth is unfolding, and the Albanians should be SHOCKED to learn that the US might no longer support their plans for GREATER ALBANIA.
