First of all, what happened in jasenovac cannot be used as a justification of Milosevic-led Serbian troops atrocities (like raping young girls and to kill newborn babies by crushing them with soldiers boots).

In the civilized, normal, western world, a person who would kill or torture another person because their grandfathers killed each other would be considered a maniac and sent to prision.

Second, the Croataian Army was right in destroying the Republic of Serbian Karjina in 1995. And if the refugees return, they should return as Croatian citizens, without separatist claims. Thst’s it.

Wonder when the Croats will ask forgiveness of the Serbian, Jewish and Roma peoples, for the Croatian actions during WWII when they operated the EXTERMINATION camp called, JASENOVAC!! Every Croat I have ever met denies that the camp was a death camp, they say it was JUST A SLAVE LABOR CAMP... as IF, that is a better description of the place. Discussing attitude that.
Plus, since my Dad fought in WWII with the US Army, against some nasty/vicious SS troops and was wounded, I would like an apology from Croatia for the SS troops they provided to Hitler's military and ANY support they offered him.

What the Serbs have done in Bosnia and Croatia lately «has tarnished the soul of the nation for generations.» (Patriarch Pavle).

What the Serbs have done to helpless civilians in Bosnia and Croatia is just as bad as what the Croatia did in Jasenovac.

Milan Kucan is to blame. Slovenia refused to allow Yugoslavia to reform into a democracy, which would allow Slobodan Milosevic’s quest for every person in Yugoslavia the right to federally vote; one person, one vote.
As for Martic, it is proven that he sent young teenaged Serbs, without basic training, to the front lines to protect his newly created Serbian Autonomous “Oblast” (Territory), rather than refusing to be kidnapped by Croatia from Yugoslavia and allowing the Yugoslav National Army to protect all its citizens from the re-emerging world war two 1990s fascists. Symbolism proves it.

Victor - Where is Croatia's shame for the acts perpetrated against Serbs which were far worse than what the Serbs did in the balkan wars of the 1990's?

« Numerous Serb civilians were killed, while more than 30,000 fled the area.»

After years of bombing of Croat and Muslim towns, ethnic cleansing, killing, the Croatian army, helped by the USA finally put an end of years of serbian oppression and middle-ages barbarity. All those crimes, as so well said Patriarch Pavle «have tarnished the sould of the serbian nation for generations.»

Twelve years after, all Croats remember well what they went trough during these terrible years, and how it was marvellous to be freed from oppression.

What will Croatia do when these people return for these territories they have been violently and temporarily chased from?

Violence is never the answer-Serbs still stand strong.
